Is there a room/place to keep track of Hogwarts area collectibles?

Sorry for sounding stupid, but I'd like to know whether there is a way to keep track of saved students, gold bricks and red bricks in Hogwarts area.

I have played Lego Star Wars and Lego Batman. They both only have collectibles in the story mode or freeplay (so I can check my progress conveniently), but in Lego Harry Potter I have to collect at the school also, and it seems the game only helps me remember the collectibles within the levels.

Unfortunately, no. You can collect and then buy the Red and Gold Brick and Character detectors, which are very helpful, but there's not one for the Students in Peril. Your best bet is to methodically check off the Bricks and SIPs one at a time using the Collectibles Guide.

it really sucks that there isnt...i ended up having to watch a walkthrough online to find the student i was missing
