Most annoying fight in arena?

God i hated doing the arena not the campaign quest but the actually mode, the golems on wave 29 would just CREAM me for awhile.... anyone else think the arena can get alittle brutal at times even on easy?

ok im an average game player not a gaming ninja and i found all 30 on easy to actually be easy use you powers and prep your blade and potions and every fight was simple.

Hire someone to help you and they might attract some enemies.

i hired the most expensive one for 1000 she died really quick a waste of coin imo

I found the dwarf hireling strong enough to last a while. Keep their attention while i kill them. None of them are useful as anything else than decoys though.

Out of all the waves up to wave 30, the only hard ones were the two that had Golems in them. I beat them by rolling around like an idiot and casting spells at them or attacking one if they are further away from the rest. Took forever but it worked beautifully.

I didn't find the arena that difficult once i got beyond the first few waves because i actually had some equipment by then. I thought the mode was quite fun

Quen works wonders for the Golem Fight in Arena Mode. Keep using it and hit and run tactics and you should be able to take the Fire Golems down with a little bit of time. Of all 30 battles in the Arena, the Fire Golems have to be the most difficult of the bunch in my opinion.

I used the process outlined in this thread to build up Igni, and I rolled over the Golems (and everything else). It wasn't a fair fight.
