Minecraft Xbox 360 Edition Seed Generator

Ok guys, the old seed generator is back for the 360 edition of Minecraft. It's a cool feature, so I'll try to add as many seeds as I can from awesome worlds.

I'll keep updating the thread with news seeds, and pictures if possible.

Diamonds, diamonds everywhere!

This seed contains a huge floating mountain above a surface zombie dungeon near the spawn area. Moving further away there are more interesting features including a wide lava flow.

If you go to http://www.minecraftseeds.info/p/all-seeds.html and scroll down there is a list of seeds under "beta 1.3-1.7". You can click on each seed to see what is so special about it. Some people even leave comments with coordinates of neat things they found.

no they seem to have left everything on the debug screen out of the game completely, which sucks because co ordinates would be really useful

If you don't choose any specific maps in the seed generator, could either of these maps pop up anyway? What I mean is, by choosing a random seed, do you randomize the world or simply randomize between a lot of different preset maps?

yes and no, a seeds number is given to it when its created for the first time, there are several billion possible seeds that could exist but there is a chance that the world formed could be the same as another but that chance is so small its not even worth mentioning

they are a numeric value that is given to all generated worlds which can be entered to load that world up fresh again, all they are is words and numbers you type in to get a certain world.

on PC you can see the seeds to your worlds and use them again or send them to other people so you can play the same world from scratch but on here they are pretty useless other than to use old PC ones because you cant actually see the seed for a random world

Clear looks great, I've been wanting to play snow maps. For some reason, the 3 or so maps I've messed around with so far haven't had any snow at all.

I can't find the giant mine on the island in "Clear" I found a number of smaller caves on the same island, but not the larger one.

The entrance should be right here.


Once you see this water fall you're close to a set of diamonds hanging over the lava.

I don't have screen caps, but if you use the seed 888
there'll be an above-ground dungeon with a saddle in it, and pigs nearby. Useful for the achievement.

I'm using the seed "snowball"

There are some very nice mountains. a lot of trees everywhere. Not many easy to find dungeons though, just a cool looking map if you like mountain tops houses. you spawn on a nice sand hill near a dessert.

I don't have any screen shots as i don't have anything to take them with, sorry :/
