New Weapon DLC

So the first pack has come out today, but it's only for a few characters:
Ma Chao, Hanbei Takenaka, Kaguya and Shuten Doji
Is it worth getting? I've only just finished chapter 1 and don't have a favourite character yet so are these guys any good?

I would wait. With over 120 charecters to choose from I dont know why they only gave new weapons for only 4 charecters.

Consider there are more than 130 characters in the game, the DLC weapons will cost us huge money, I'd rather prefer to wait for new costumes.

Can anyone give any more information about these weapons?

What are they? Just more of the same but different looks? Still a spear for ma chao etc.?

Or is it a new type of weapon for each of them... like when ma chao used a great sword for a bit (was terrible but would be nice if they added the option)

According to http://koei.wikia.com/wiki/Warriors_...LC#Weapon_Pack it seems like just an additional weapon. Same type, looks, stats, etc. I'd rather have new stages. More stages, more fun !

For those wondering why it's just a 4 weapon pack, the weapons were individual promotional weapons in japan, each given out with something different. Ma Chao's spear with the treasure box edition of the game, Hanbei's weapon with a book or something like that, etc etc. They just threw them all in one package for US/UK instead of not releasing them since we never got the options for the stuff that they came with.

But to post something relevant to the thread, does anyone know what the weapon rank of the items is? If it's a big star rank then they can actually be useful, seeing as they get insane stats. Especially when you consider how invaluable a big star rank weapon for starting characters can be. (though if that were the case it should have been a day one DLC...)
