Just watched the Nokia Press Conference here's what came about WP related.

This announcement for the Global 900 also confirmed that the white version exists.

It has less RAM so background stuff is disabled, eg. you couldn't play music while using another app, but for around £100 what do you expect.

I got my Trophy7 off ebay for £110 so it seems the smarter option to getting yourself a higher tech handset

But that's £110 for a used handset with zero warranty. You can't really equate that to a new phone with DSR rights & a (minimum) 12 month warranty.

To the naysayers, the whole point of phones like this is to allow more people access to smartphones. People in developing countries can't afford phones that are $600+ unlocked or even $200+ subsidized by a carrier (which doesn't work that way in most of the world, by the way). Part of Microsoft's strategy for making Windows Phone a competitor in the marketplace is by reaching a larger audience than Apple or even Google are capable of doing.

Not to pull off the subject of new Windows phone but has there been any news about the Note going to Sprint? or Journal w/e they call it or any news about maybe a Samsung S3? at the Conference.

I wouldn't get it as I work with business Nokia are having a hard time with phone sells, and are likely to go out of business. I'll stick with samsung.

I have 10K+ eBay feedback so yes, I do know

Cheapest new on eBay is £180+ and most eBay sellers warranties arn't worth sh!t.

It's great if you found a good deal (that's how I got my WP6.5 handset - eBay Orange clearance ) - but if it's a one off deal that can't be repeated by others on a regular basis then it's still an irrelevant comparison.

And yes, I've had a look and there are not currently and there have not been recently any new HTC Trophy 7's offered or sold for anywhere close to the price you mentioned.

Nokia is one of the most successful phone manufacturers in the world. You're severely misinformed.

The Nokia Lumia 900 looks really nice but my Trophy does the job. The only trouble I'm having is the battery life so I have just ordered a new high capacity battery off of Ebay.

I may look into different WP7's if my phone messes up but for now this will do.
