Achievement Guide and Road Map
Overview:
-Estimated achievement difficulty: 5/10 -Offline: 45 (1000 -Online: 0 -Approximate amount of time to 1000: 10-20 hours -Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 4 -Number of missable achievements: 0 -Do cheat codes disable achievements?: No Cheats -Does difficulty affect achievements?: Yes -Glitchy achievements: None -Unobtainable achievements: None -Extra equipment needed?: None Introduction Welcome to Asura's Wrath! A game that's very anime influenced, with a great story, awesome characters, and some amazing battles. This game is very reliant on interactive cutscenes for the majority of the game and is a fun experience from start to end. This guide will help you on how to go through the game and get 1,000 with the least effort possible. Step 1: Normal Playthrough Your first playthrough will be on Normal Difficulty (or easy difficulty if you want to enjoy the story and not worry about anything). In this playthrough you should try your best to get S ranks on any episode you can, and go for any achievement related to interrupting some of the bosses Monologues. The bosses that give you those achievements are Wyzen, Kalrow, and Augus. So with that in mind, there isn't much else you have to be weary of. So play the game through on Normal and beat the "Hidden Episode" once you finish the game. Also get S Rank on 10 episodes so you can unlock the Mortal Gauge, which you will be using on the next playthrough. Also any Gauges you got for preordering can be used, and won't block, or mess up any of the achievements. Step 2: Mortal Gauge Playthrough This playthrough you'll be using the Mortal Gauge (decreases your total life bar) for the whole entirety of the playthrough. It is recommended that you play this on Easy. There's nothing else to worry about except trying your best to get Counters, Bursts, Kills in Unlimited mode, and getting Excellent on Button Prompts. Step 3: Blind Master Playthrough This Playthrough will be dedicated to running through the game with the Blind Master Gauge (no gauges displayed throughout the game). Yet again if you didn't get any previous achievements for certain actions like burst, counters, etc. then work on those. Step 4: Hard Playthrough You'll be using the Obliterator gauge (gives you unlimited Rage) which will make the hard playthrough easier than your other playthroughs. Step 5: Mop Up Now this is where you'll go for all S ranks on Hard and Normal if you haven't already, and to clean up and other remaining achievements you have left. Conclusion This games very fun, and not too terribly hard to obtain 1,000. Hope you guys enjoy the game and my guide.

They Don't Stand a Chance 15 ![]() Defeat a certain number of enemies while in Unlimited Mode. See "Unstoppable Force" for more details. Unstoppable Force 20 ![]() Defeat a certain number of enemies while in Unlimited Mode. You have to defeat 100 enemies with Unlimited Mode. Unlimited Mode is the gauge below the Burst/Life bar. When you attack enemies it fills up, and you press to activate it when the gauge is full. This will make Asura stronger, no cooldowns on heavy attacks, and take less damage.A good place to get a lot of kills for this, is when your attacking a lot of ships or flying enemies. A Cry of Anger 15 ![]() Activate Burst a certain number of times. See "A Roar of Fury" for more details. A Roar of Fury 20 ![]() Activate Burst a certain number of times. You'll unlock this after you use Burst 100 times. You should hit 50 Burst near the end of the game. After your second playthrough you should have this unlocked. Burst mode is the red gauge located under your health. Burst mode is activated with after beating up enemies, and is essentially what sends you into the next section of Quick Time Events after a battles over. Pain Is Universal 15 ![]() Prove that you can take a beating. This will unlock once you take 10,000 damage across all battles. You should unlock this around half way through the game. Too Legit to Quit 15 ![]() If at first you don't succeed... Unlocked by Continuing the game after you die. Ka-ching! 30 ![]() Accumulate a certain number of battle points. You have to Accumulate a total of 120,000 battle points in order to unlock this. I got mine at the end of the game, but if you replay episodes then it should add those battle points to your total. Can't Touch This 15 ![]() Perform a certain number of counterattacks. See "Can't Touch That" for more details. Can't Touch That 20 ![]() Perform a certain number of counterattacks. A Counterattack is when an enemies body turns white and when they attack you a button prompt will come up. If done successfully you'll throw them or hit them, before they hit you. You have to get 100 of these for the achievement to unlock. Quick on the Draw 15 ![]() Achieve a certain number of EXCELLENT synchronic impact rankings. See "Lightning Reflexes" for more details Lightning Reflexes 20 ![]() Achieve a certain number of EXCELLENT synchronic impact rankings. A Excellent impact is during Quick Time Events. You'll see a Ring that will get smaller and you have to hit the Button Prompt right when it closes in almost completely. You have to do 150 of these for this to unlock. Hit'Em Hard 15 ![]() Defeat a certain number of enemies with a special attack. See "Hit'Em Harder" for more details Hit'Em Harder 20 ![]() Defeat a certain number of enemies with a special attack. The number of kills for this is 300 kills. The special attack this achievement asks you to do, is when the enemy is lying on the ground and you get a prompt. If done correctly it should show a cutscene with Asura hitting the enemy. Taking Out the Trash 15 ![]() Defeat a certain number of enemies with heavy attacks, lock-on fire, or both. You have to defeat 300 enemies with heavy attacks or lock-on fire. To do a heavy attack simply hit during any ground fights with enemies. Just know that you have a cooldown after every heavy attack.lock-on fire kills are obtained during any flying/falling/running sections. Aim your reticle over an enemy and you should see triangle shapes starting popping up over the enemy. Hit when you get as many enemies locked on as you want.If you didn't get this during your first playthrough, then replay Episode 14 as many times needed, as there is a lot of kills you can get with lock-on fire at the start.

The Whole Nine 15 ![]() Get all the gauges. There are 9 gauges in the game, plus the pre-order gauges. Here's a list, and how to unlock them: Avenger - Default Gauge Defender - 3 A Ranks in Part I: Suffering any difficulty Destructor - 3 A Ranks in Part II: Rebirth any difficulty Thermoregulator - 3 A Ranks in Part III: Karma any difficulty Survivor - 10 A Ranks in 10 Episodes any difficulty Blind Master - All A Ranks on any Difficulty Mortal - 10 S Ranks on any episodes on any difficulty Obliterator - Beat the game using the Mortal Gauge Augur - Beat the game using the Blind Master Gauge Look Ma, No Eyes! 30 ![]() Complete all episodes with a certain gauge equipped. This is for completing the game with the Blind Master Gauge equipped. This Gauge makes it so you can't see your Life/Burst/Unlimited bars. Make sure you go through on Easy for the least amount of stress. This playthrough should take you roughly 2-3 hours if you're skipping cutscenes. Who Needs Health? 90 ![]() Complete all episodes with a certain gauge equipped. This is for completing the game with the Mortal Gauge equipped. The Mortal Gauge decreases your life bar. Recommended that you do this playthrough on Easy difficulty so you won't have as much trouble. This will be the toughest part of the game since the later bosses can be a pain in the neck to defeat with this gauge. I would recommend learning the patterns, and try to take cheap shots on the bosses whenever you can. You're not going for S ranks on this playthrough so don't worry about taking your time. Warrior 90 ![]() Complete all episodes on Hard. This is achieved for beating the game on hard. If you have done everything according to the roadmap, then you should have the Obliterator Gauge, which gives you a maximum bar of Unlimited Mode at all times. During this playthrough you're going to want to get as many S ranks as you can, so you don't have to replay too many episodes once you're finished. Demigod 30 ![]() Complete all episodes with at least an A rank on Normal. See "Deity" for more details Shinkoku Soldier 30 ![]() Complete all episodes with an S rank on Normal. See "Deity" for more details Guardian General 30 ![]() Complete all episodes with at least an A rank on Hard. See "Deity" for more details. Deity 90 ![]() Complete all episodes with an S rank on Hard. This is for S ranking every single Episode on Hard, including the Hidden Episode. You'll also have to do all Episodes S Rank on Normal, since they don't stack. Use the Obliterator gauge when you're trying to for the S ranks as it will give you the fastest time in battles that you possible can get. The only thing you should have to worry about is trying to get a good amount of Battle Points. If you die too many times, then restart the Episode. If you spam Heavy Attacks over and over it will give you the most points over time, since you don't have to worry about the Unlimited Bar draining. Also keep attacking the enemy, even if your Burst Bar is filled up all the way. This will give you a better opportunity to get more points, to make sure you get at least an A or S in points. Make sure you also get a good Synchronic Rating during every episode. Try your best to get EXCELLENT instead of Goods, or Greats. Enlightenment 0 ![]() Unlock all ASURA'S WRATH achievements. You should unlock this after earning all other 44 achievements in the game! Congratulations on completing the game and getting all S Ranks.

This is actually in Episode 9 - at the End you have a very little Fight with Kalrow - but before that, you can get this Achievement.

Go ahead and put the remaining achievements in. If any way possible could you order them the way they have it in the link below?
http://www.xbox360achievements.org/g.../achievements/ That, or order them in the way you would achieve them

I was wondering if any of the pre-order bonus gauge's will block any achievements. Does anyone know if they do?

Edit: I've got all the achievements down, and at least have a description for them all. Some of them I'll be rewording and adding a few tips to. So if anyone sees anything wrong, or has some tips they want me to add, then i'll be glad to.

wtf? I suppose to unlock The Six-Armed Man during episode 5 but it didn't unlock for me. Now I've finished the 6th episode and got Suffering but the The Six-Armed Man is still missing.
It looks not legit now on my gamertag. Maybe this is missable achievement? this guy has all the timestamps on his achievements and he has the same order like me http://live.xbox.com/en-GB/Activity/...reTo=TheMasta7 he also didn't got the six-armed man achievement after or during the fight with Wyzen so either it's missable somehow or it's glitched Last edited by scorpy78; 02-24-2012 at 10:09 PM. |

For the few people tat didn't get the story related achievements, there are a few that are actually missable. "6 armed man, heads will roll, rebel with a cause,it takes 2" can be missed if you skip cutscenes so take your time & watch this great looking game/story unfold.

Great guide. And a 5/10 difficulty doesn't seem too harsh.
Have you completed the game yourself? |

Edit: Done with my 1,000. It's confirmed that you have to S rank all episodes on Hard and Normal.

The normal playthrough would be 3/10 - and even if there are some Bosses who seems to be hard, but when you understand their patterns its a piece of cake. But some S-Ranks would really be a 7/10. So i think a 5/10 represents its pretty good.

You can replay episodes; check the gauge menu to check, which episode you already completed with the gauge

You can start a new game on easy if you want, and it won't delete your progress. I think you can just Episode Select and do it that way, but I'm not positive

The collectibles achievements only unlock, when you enter the extras menu.
When using the blind gauge, do you still get a notification, when you have your wrath filled?

No. But if your doing that run on easy, then it activates on its own. Unless you're talking about burst. In that case it tells you.
