Season Pass

Ok, So i purchased a pre-owned copy of this game back in June 2011.

As it was pre-owned the Season Pass had understandably expired, so i went onto the marketplace spent 800msp and purchased my own season pass.

Played it for a couple of weeks then shelved it for months and months.

Looking through my achievements list i noted that i had 16 online based achievements left to get and started load up the disc to get them.

Only to find that when i try and play a game online it states that i need to buy a Season Pass?

WTF is this all about, surely if i paid for one less than a year ago i don't need to purchase a new one?

Is this normal? if i bought the game from new would i have to buy a pass 6 - 8 months down the line?

EA = Fucking Annoying!!

I purchased this from the in game menu:

"FIFA 11 Live Season: All Leagues"

i take it that is the online pass?!

You need to purchase the online pass believe your prompted at some point for it???

I bought what you have, season pass lasts a season? isnt it updats and podcasts from different teams and leagues? or ive completely missread something? either way i would be steaming after 800mp.

EA- Money grabbers.

Yea thats exactly what i purchased, pissed me right off when i couldnt get online, but when it prompts you that is the only thing resembling the online pass?

i cant see anything bud apart from live seasons ? for 800mp mate was it that?

i bought this on my ps3 and my blu ray failed so never worked out what it even was.. lol

Live Season is something else. It's basically the real life fixture list of whichever league you purchase (in your case, all seasons), and it updates the form/stats/injuries in line with real life if I recall correctly. This lasts for only the season the game was released for, so in the case of FIFA11 this Live Season mode will no longer work after the 2010/2011 season is over. We are currently in 2011/2012.

The pass/code u need to purchase to play the game online is a totally different separate purchase.
