Distruction in a single bound help

I know this game is old as hell but I wanted to get 1000 in it before the next gens come out.

I'm stuck on this one. Whenever I get to 28k my score drops and I can't get any higher. Any ideas? Thank

This mini game is glitched like no other. Good luck to ever tries this.
