i did these all to my HB in the flats but does it have to be in the same drive? because i scored in 15 passes and then did it on my next drive and went 40-40 and didnt get it...HELP!!

You need to do other passes like passes over the middle. for some reason half of the time it counts screen passes as running plays.

I think this dude is on to something here.

If you are passing the ball laterally, meaning that you selected a screen to a wideout or a tailback and the receiver is behind you, then you the play will count as a run.

Yes it does have to be in the same drive. I thought it was crazy that it had to be done in the same drive but i pulled it off.

My advice is Eli Manning and Jeremy Shockey. Pick the Dual TE Flat play and start from behind the 10 yard line. Do not go for the first down on the first down. Get a few passes complete and go for the first down when needed on the 3rd or 4th down of the play. If you keep going for first downs you wont get it because sooner or later you will score and run into the red zone with not enough time to get the full 20 passes in.

It took me like 3 tries so just be patient with it and dont rush the passes. Step back and take a second

I don't think it needs to be all in one drive, I unlocked both of these achievements in the same game, and I did not have a 20+ play drive in that or any other game I've played thus far.

I didn't do it all on the same drive and I got both achievements once the game was finished.

well I remember doing 21 over the course of 2 drives and not getting it. I did get the 10 though.

Played it again 2 games later and got it in the same drive.

Is there a set minutes for the achievement??

I'm pretty sure some of the achievements in this game are glitchy, just like in NCAA 08. I can not get the 20 completions in a row/ten catches no matter how hard i try. I've done everything possible, and it hasn't worked. I also have been unable to get the 20 yard average for a receiver, 200 punt return yards in a game, or the no sacks allowed achievements. Something's messed up.

It is not glitchy if you ask me. It took me 3 tries after I knew that all the completions had to be in one try. So take your time and only get your first down after the 3rd try and you will get it. But it is a (*&^( off. :-)

Ok guys, after much trial and error i finally got these.

I just got this after many tries, all I did was continue to pick the "HB Screen" and I threw it to my HB...

You have to make sure the HB is infront of you when you throw it so move back out of the pocket. If you throw behind you the computer will consider it a rushing play. I checked my game stats after 2-3 plays to make sure it was not showing up as a rushing play.

You do not have to do all 20 in one drive, I did mine over a game I was going for the 650 Yards achievement in the process.

so if i roll out the pocket or drop back far enough then chuck it to the HB...will that then count as a pass?

It did for me, you just have to make sure you're QB is behind the HB when you throw the ball.

this is said in another post which i believe pants party discussed(don't get mad at me if it was someone else!)...use two controllers..receive with the 1st player controller and set the defense to punt block/field goal block either or and then the easiest to do is shotgun so you dont get sacked...i just found a nice play where B had a straight route out and i would just throw right away and then run back some yards so i got 10 completions per drive...took only 2 drives to get the 20 completions/10 catches and then i supersimmed the rest...

I used the Chargers and did screen passes to LT the entire time, 20 in a row for bothe the achievements for over the coarse of 3 Qtrs.

i used the West Coast offense and when you pick a play by formation go down 1 after pressing A on play by formation and the formation should say something about TE and when you clicked on that formation click the first play on the top left, the TE is 99% of the time the best way to get this achievement. i used the Falcons because Alge Crumpler has the hands boost on him, i threw it to him about 40 times until he dropped it sooo i got the achievement and went about 112-116 LOL

I'm a bit confused with the difference with a reception and a completion. IS my explaination correct?

A reception is when a player catches the ball and the stats count for the receiver. To get the achievement all 10 catches must be done consecutively with the same receiver.

A completion is when the QB throws the ball and it is caught, the stats count for the QB. To get the achievement the QB must make 20 consecutive completed passes, but they can be to different receivers.

These achievements are so damn lame or there glitched for me or something. I did the HB opition, under shotgun pass pg. 5 i think. I threww 15 passes for a gain to player X, there was only one pass that was 1 yard, all others for for a larger gain. I did it over the course of two drives that resulted in TD's. Then once i threw an incompletion after 15 receptions in a row, i super simed it to the end. It was on 5 min quarters, patriots vs. raiders on rookie difficulty. I am really fucken fed up with these achievements, beyond immagination. So please someone help, tell me what i am doing wrong.

I also think the "20 completions in a row" achievement is glitched. I got it in franchise mode with the Titans (vs Saints) on all-pro difficulty: it unlocked at the end of the game, I was very surprised because I don't pass the ball a lot and I got picked 2 times and threw a few incompletions. So I checked the replays and found out I never ever got more than 8 completions in a row. Stone cold glitch.

This never happened to me...I was at exactly 20 and then I supersimmed to get it...if you throw the pass and it falls I think it doesn't ruin the streak, I think the only way the streak is ruined is if you pass it and the receiver has his hands on the ball and then gets tackled to drop it.

What exactly does the computer determine a completed pass? Is it a lateral HB pitch? Does a regular INC pass that just falls limply to the ground for some-ass reason not get docked against your streak? Does anyone really know the exact definitions of what will get you this vile little achievement and what will put on the suck? We need a reliable strategy with specific gameplay settings and any caveats in order to put the definitive 'how-to' on this. Then let's upload that to the guide, because it seems that many of us are either too stupid (me) or unlucky (y'all) to get this on the quick-quick. The game guide has some things, but I haven't been able to make those suggestions work for me yet, either.
