Which save file do I back-up
Im just starting out on the long road to My Kung Fu Is Strongest and Ive read in a couple of threads that its vitally important to keep backing up my save data onto usb. This is usually something I do as a matter of course but having looked at the MK save data on HD Im a bit confused as to which file to copy. Can someone please tell me which of these files holds the relevant data;
Downloaded Settings 216kb Game Settings 60kb Player Setting 124kb I think its probably the Player setting one but as Im not 100% sure Id rather ask and look like a moron than lose my save, thanks a lot |

Smart choice backing up your save. I always backed up all three but I just did that because I didn't know which one to do.
I'm sure MODSRAM is right though. Be pre-paired for a long grind. If I have any advice I can give it's take brakes to enjoy other games and eventually it will come.

Thanks for the advice, Im prepared for the grind and tbh it doesnt bother me at all. I have 2 mastered so far (nearly there!) and Im just working on getting the xrays done for every character asap. After that Im gonna do at most, 2 characters alities per day. Ive just finished grinding elite on rainbow 6 vegas, during which I left my slim xbox on for over 150 hrs straight, so leaving the console on over night doesnt bother me in the slightest, if it dies, it dies. Ill get there sooner or later and then I can look at that lovely 1k for MK. Looking forward to the next game, I like to dream of MK vs SF but I doubt itll ever happen

Personally i back the 3 of them always. I don't know how you can do 2 characters fatalies per day... as it take me like 5 days to do only one... Maybe its because im an online player and i rather pwn people in GOW online than to do that. But honestly i do 3 arcades with 1 characters than im bored to death...
But before i had a 120 GB hard drive(so before i could install the game) i was upping A LOT of characters online. Some people here laught at me for challenging people with low stats... but guess what... im nearly at 15 characters mastered online now.... and i had fun doing those unlike the 4 so far i did offline(i only got my HDD less than a month ago). So now that i do have an HDD with the game install i can boost the hours time... considering im at 17 hours with Kitana, 18 with Raiden(legit) then i would say this achievement is official impossible to do legit... so well... i hate boosting, not a secret, i used to think if you can't do it legit, don't do it, but that was pretty much always for the achievements requiring skills. And playtime... dosen't require any skill.... So well, lets say 15 done online, 4 so far offline.... 19... only 7 left... Not so bad... and as for the time, i just leave my xbox open at night... honestly im glad the way i choosed to do it... upping so much characters online cause i had fun with the game, i diversified my matches even if i didn't played quality players... and i don't care it will have took me like 1 year to do it... cause honestly unlike the super boosters here, im not looking to achieve as much achievements in the least time possible... Im just trying to complete the games im uber fan totally... and sadly some achievements are just unatainable....legit. For exemple... im probably gonna buy Soul Calibur 5 soon... i don't give a crap about achievement... im not that much of a fan, will probably play it 2 or 3 months at best... But MK, im a fan since im 10.... GOW... im a fan since 2006.... so i want to complete those... Sometimes i wish this perticular website would have better rules... For exemple right now, it make me sick to my stomack seeing people boost with a "game glitch" so not even in a way the game allow it(like MK) the xperience of GOW... Im 74 Green, all legit.... and sometimes i see red prestige... these are obviously glitched... and there shit honestly.... i destroy them like any given noobs the game throw at me... make me sick to see a "prestigious standing" earned by an uber noob. I think glory has to be earned... Its true any given player can earned the top prestige on any game, but the difference is that a good player will achieve it in 3 months after the re-up(personally thats my goal for my gold wings) and the noob will take... 2 years... since he will do less xp than me... I hate to see standings behing destoyed.... Like what you said, you mentioned your boosting elite on Rainbow Six... well... i don't care, that game is super old, and almost empty.... But i used to play this a lot back in the time, i manage to be elite in 3 months after release, and when the "prestige elite" came, i had a lot of respect for the guys that achieve hight prestige levels... like Elite 50 or so... But there will always be low lifes scum that will cheat there way to the glory... Pretty much like COD leaderbords that where full of glitchers... Its sad and disapointing.... I can understand the need for achievements .... but i do think to get all achievements, you need to love the game and dedicate your time to it. For exemple, im not a battlefield fan... but i got many friends asking me to get it to play with them. I may get it one day... but you can be sure i won't give a crap about achievements... as im not a big fan and will not spend that much time on the game. GOW on the other hand... im a strong player, a beast, so im working hard to get my highter rank to show that yeah, im SERIOUS !!! and i will deserve it.

Why is it that in every topic you visit, you have to write a story? I'm just curious. I mean the question was answered, TC was happy, some small advice was given, TC was happier and now you just write a story. I'm just curious, what makes you think people want to hear about your gaming life? What goes through your head when you post? I find it most interesting.

And as for this particular post, i think my side of the story, my opinion if you prefer is interesting. You may share it or not, thats not my concern, but one thing that american do loves to prone(i know your australian, but its an american board) is the freedom of speech, so well...

Yes, it is a disscusion forum, not a personal gaming history forum. Also, you didn't answer anything. As well, this is not an American board. I don't know where you got that from. So the site domain may be hosted in America but it's not just Americans participating in the forum.
You also gave no opinion, you just told us that you don't like glitchers (when you have no solid proof that anyone glitched, as usual). The post i'm replying to know has nothing to do with the posted I replied to earlier. it makes me wonder sometimes if you read more than the first word before jumping into a "discussion" as you call it. Look, do you need to play the smart ass everytime? The website is in english, the administrators are probably american... but that was not the point, i was just capitalizing on something i hear all the time to say i have the right to speak my opinion.
And yes i don't like glitchers, and yeah this is a glitch in gow, it has been patched, so people clear the cach to actually perform him, and it require you to time well your shot to make it work. Thats pretty much similar to getting out of a map in GOW1... its a glitch plain and simple, not a hack, but a glitch. Oh and yeah i read everything... all the time.

That's all i'm trying to say, stop talking about random and irrelavent things when no one asked you about them. I don't talk about how many bad guys I shot in COD when someone asks "how are you today?" so there's no reason for you to talk about glitchers in GOW when someone asks "which save-file do I back up?". |

You are most definitely not a beast, because any beast who is truly a beast doesn't refer to himself as a beast.
