Cant complete Discerning the Transmundane?!!

I have collected all of the necessary blood from everything, but when i go to return to septimus the Wretched Abyss is just in the way. I've tried talking to it and nothing happens, i've tried reloading to a save point, walking through it, jumping over it, but nothing seems to help. PLEASE ANYONE HELP ME OUT

Is this before or after Septimus opens the giant Dwemer Cube in the cave?

If it is before, do you still have all of the necessary stuff still in your inventory that extracted the blood samples in the first place?

to be honest i dont remember if he opened it or not its been so long, i just remember doing quests leading up to the blood quest, doing the quest and coming back with that abyss thing in the way=\

If you finished it, you will have obtained the Oghma Infinium.

They won't let you remove any of the quest objects but you may want to check anyway

What does your quest log say you need to do next? Are you sure you have all of the blood samples?

What level are you? You won't be able to continue that part of the quest until you've reached level 15 or higher.

Yes i have all of the samples. and im level 26. I glitched and jumped over the wretched abyss from the outside (by the enterance of septimus' cave) and finished the quest and got the book but found out the hard way i still can't talk to it from the inside and worst of all i cant even jump over it because the ground is lower so there is no way around it. So i have all requirements for the quest, i finished the quest and got the book but that abyss isnt going anywhere=\

This is the first I'm hearing of this glitch so it must be super rare. Either way, that really sucks for you, man. I know this wasn't helpful, but I have no idea what you could do to remedy it.
