Kickball achievement

I know I'm not the only one having trouble with this. On the original N64 version you had to be the lowest scorer but on the 370 re-release you have to be the highest scorer to win making it impossible to get this achievement. Can anyone tell me if they have gotten it and what they did to make it work for them?
