Board Problems

Don't know if anyone will actually read this, but I just got the game (I know it sucks and all, but it was cheap and I already had the Ride board), and I've been having some board problems. Constantly, when I start a session, I will tilt left, or touch the left sensor, and the game will be saying I tilted right or touched the right sensor, and vice versa if I tilt or touch right. If I turn the board around, the guy just does a revert and the problem persists. If I switch between goofy or regular stance, the problem persists. Sometimes, it will magically work, but most times, it does not. I was thinking it had might have to do with the way I ollie at the start of each session, but even if I nollie, it still stays screwed up. As well, I've tried re-calibrating and that doesn't work either. I never had these problems with Tony Hawk: Ride, so it shouldn't be the board that's doing this. Any suggestions on how to fix this?
