Hope everyone likes them, post all comments and criticisms. I used to use Photoshop CS3 & I now use The GIMP 2.2.

well nice attempts, and keep playing around with effects and stuff until you can work into a nice style of your own

may i ask what version of photoshop you use?

try reading a few tutorials to brush up your skills.

I use CS3, I'm searching online right now for some TUTs so I'm gonna use the tricks I learn from them on my Leon Kennedy Sig.

Dont just look for cs3 tut's look for photoshop tuts in general.

UPDATE: Sig Added

It's the same crop from the same pic as the colored one, but I rendered it & I think it's A LOT better, still not great.

Yeah the Venom one is definitely my favorite...just keep practicing and you will get better

Yeah, good job dude for your first few attempts. They were much better than my first ones that's for sure!

Try mixing about with Text effects. Adding effects such as Drop Shadow, Bevel Emboss, Outer Glow, Stroke, etc. can really change the way the text blends with the rest of the graphic.

Like in your Sam Fisher one, the Red text clashes with the background, so perhaps a black stoke, outer glow or bevel emboss would help separate it and make it stand out better.

Yeah if you can up your brushing technique you can really bring your sigs to life. A lot of my backrounds on my sigs are made with brushes

UPDATE: Avatar Added

I've been really busy so I haven't posted anything new in a while. I have plenty of Almost Finished Sigs so There'll be a lot of new stuff added. I just had a few mins so I made this:

I really liked my Venom Sig, but it was too big & didn't look good Sig-Sized. I also wanted a cool Avatar, so I put both of those ideas together & came up with this. Just made it small & added Brighton X to it. Hope everyone likes it.

yeah if your gonna make a sig with the background hidden i suggest you make the sig still not looking like its square .. with the top and right side cut off like that it still looks square even though the background is not there ..
