Onslaught dlc

anyone tell me what is the onslaught dlc? is it a campaign add on? just about to start this game so want to get most of the achievemnts and im hoping alot of people are still online for multiplayer to!

The 'Onslaught' DLC is a online gamemode that tasks one squad of up to four players to capture certain points on the map, allowing the squad to advance. The game is won by capturing all the points. Unlike other modes, the only enemies are bots. Their is different difficulties for each map and you don't get XP from this gamemode type.

To answer your question about how many players are usually on, I find it hard to get a game with max amount of players, but this is probably because my timezone is a bit strange.

I have XBOX Live Silver. Can I still play Onslaught by myself? I know I have to be connected online, but does it need to be Gold?

It is sort of like a mixture of Horde mode + Rush + Conquest.

Team up with up to 3 players online, or privately alone and have a base to capture. Once captured, there will be a new area of the map in which you and your teammates are tasked to capture that flag, so on and so on. Gets a bit tedious to be honest. Though the new setting of maps is an interesting twist.

Example: Twilight Isla innocentes, Daylight Nelson Bay, Dark Atacama desert etc.
