An Honor Serving (Captain rank during Halo: CE Anniversary)

Hey,

I did the terminal thing via Halo Waypoint, and that gave me enough points to get to the rank of Captain. Afterwards i launced the Halo CEA multiplayer. Didn't get the achivement. So what i'm trying to say is:

Even though You rank up to Captain in Halo CEA, you dont get the An Honor Serving Achievement in Halo Reach.

I thought that i would get the achievement from raknking up in Halo CEA.
Thats beacause Halo Reach always comes up as recently played on my list everytime i have played multiplayer on Halo CEA.

Thought i might inform others.

I don't think I'm understanding the message from how it's worded - are you confirming that you would be locked out of the achievement? or merely speculating?

Besides terminals (which I believe only give credits in waypoint, a beast and discussion all its own), isn't the only way to acquire credits through the anniversary disc revolve around the reach multiplayer... which we already know grants reach achievements?

I think he says that you can't get the "rank up to captain" achievement while playing reach multiplayer from the Halo CEA disc.

I did the secret terminal in Halo Waypoint. And that gave me enough points to get to the rank captain. And since it's the same account i used on halo reach multiplayer i thought it was odd that i didn't det the achievement in Halo CEA.

Becuase every time i play the multiplayer on Halo CEA, Halo Reach comes up as recently played on my list as well. So i tried playing a game on the Halo Reach cd and the acheivement popped at the end of the game.

seems like the CEA disc is restricted to the anniversary achievements only as it's just a part of Reach

Tried to see if i found anything related to this matter.
But i might be a terrible searcher...

I did the same thing, with the terminal bonus credits gave me Captain rank in Reach. But it didn't pop right away. So I played a match in Halo Reach and the cheevo popped when it was counting up credits after the match.
