Tour of Duty II 30
Play one hundred matches

If you win or lose, all you have to do is play one hundred matches.

Defender 10
Defend five flags

After you capture any flag, wait at the base, and as enemies come, kill them. Hide behind a wall and crouch to be covered. If you also wanted to also get the "Attacker" achievement, you can capture five flags, then wait and kill any enemies that try to attack the base. A goo d stragety is to go to a base with a yellow X over it because this base is a point of interest which means many people will be going for it. Take a tank or other vehicle for extra safety and either capture the flag and defend or defend one of your already captured bases. If the +3 defend bonus when you kill the enemy does not appear, it will not count as a defend.

Master of your domain 20
Get one kill playing as each class

You need to get a kill as a scout, infantry, and rifleman. This does not have to be done all in one round. Use the sniper for the scout, rifle for the infantry, and the sub-machine gun for the infantry. Either sneak up behind the enemy or catch them in the middle of combat to get a quick and easy kill.

Milkrun 20
Fly a plane for 10 minutes

Get into the plane at either the carrier or the airfield. Then fly around and try not to get shot down. This does not have to be in the same round, you fly an overall of 10 minutes.

Motorman 20
Get one kill with car, tank and plane

This is one of the harder achievements because you have to get a kill in the plane. First in the car, either run someone over or shoot them with the machine gun on top of the car. In the tank, either run someone over or shoot at them with the coax gun or barrel. The plane kill can be considered either the bombing raid or fighter plane. If you use the bombing raid, which is easier for people who can not fly, just hit an area where there are many enemies. In the fighter jet, kill an enemy plane or drop a bomb on the enemy. Does not need to be in one round.


Parachutist 10
Use the parachute once (2 seconds)

Once you get into a plane at either the carrier or airfield, take off and you you are high in the air (at least 100 feet above the houses, this way the parachute will not fail and it will definitely be more than two seconds), jump out of the plane by pressing and then press to deploy your parachute. Do this once and the achievement will unlock.

The Pacific Campaign 10
Win once on every map as any team

You have to win once on every map. To win,

• Capture flags
• Kill the enemies
• Prevent the enemies from capturing your bases

Tour of Duty I 10
Play 30 matches

See "Tour of Duty II"

Veteran 20
Cap 25 enemy flags

To capture a flag you have to be the first person to arrive at a flag, and wait until it becomes your flag. You can tell if the flag is almost yours by the ticker at the bottom of the screen. If it stops it means an enemy is nearby and needs to be eliminated before you capture the flag. If the ticker at the bottom is completely red, the flag is enemy, if the ticker is completely blue, it is your own flag. Eliminate all enemies and take the flag, you can not assist, you must capture the flag for it to count. Being in a tank can help protect you from enemy fire.

Melee Man 20
Melee kill one enemy player

You must press when you are near an enemy. When you kill them with the melee weapon the achievement will unlock. It only takes one hit to kill the enemy.

You should add to the 'Best Squad' that it is more likely to unlock if you are not in a squad.

Yeah, sorry when I checked to see if anyone posted if they would make the guide... there was no one there so it I took it upon myself to help out. Thanks for the help strongbow.

And BTW, where does it say you need 100 posts before you post a guide, I do not remember seeing that, and I would think they would not have a restriction on basically if you can help the the gaming community or not. Just because I (or anyone is new) does not mean they can not help.

For the parachute achievement, you don't have to do it twice. Just for two seconds.

For the other two people who posted above me, just because someone else wrote a guide doesn't mean he can't. That one hasn't been accepted to the main site yet so as of now, anyone can write a guide.

And you don't need 100 posts to write a guide...

Wow you took no time to even write this guide.

I got Best Squad after winning on both sides in every map, getting best squad each time.

I did parachutist at about 100 feet.

Motorman is easy, just use the raid bunker.

And the description for Defender is just weak.

Oh, and Melee man you don't have to use the Right Trigger, the initial Y hit works as well.

Thanks for the advice... made some edits and will (probably) resubmit, even though their has been another guide. They might combine information or might not use mine at all, but at least I might have helped someone in the process.

Does it matter if people have More than 1 guide to look at to see diffrent opinions and ways on how to get it?

Looking at urs and He's Just a quick look Im not sure if the info is the same But its definatly Not completely a copy, What do you expect with a guide to the same game? For him to give totaly diffrent Info to the acheivment? D;

also - as for the Best Squad achievement. the trophy for it in-game is for being best squad on each map 3 times, not just once.

i am hoping it unlocks for me after i get best squad that many times on each map with friends. it's nearly impossible for me to get best squad by myself, as even when i score near 600 points, it just takes a squad of 4 guys to get nearly 200 to beat me...

edit: i got the best squad achievement the first time i got best squad on all 3 maps with friends.

I am sure that you will be able to use the site tools for seach, etc once you have spent more time using it. Thank you for the information and hopefully the commentary from some people on this site doesn't keep you from posting and trying to help the community in the future.

Is there a posting in the site rules about having 100 posts to be qualified to write a guide? If so, I would like to understand the rationale behind that winner.

Yeah, I seemed to have check the faq forum to see if anyone was working on it and nothing came up, so i did it. BTW, I did not copy your guide, I only found out that you made one afterward.

And to the all the people who thought others were "discouraging" me, do not worry, I reguarly post on the xbox.com forums and experience much worse, just for typing something wrong.

Although I really didn't need it, this is a good guide. Very descriptive even though it didn't need to be which is great.

I do wish however that the achievements for the game were directly from the stamps you get in-game. For instance, there's a stamp for getting the top rank which would've been a cool achievement and the Milkrun achievement is not like the Milkrun stamp. The Milkrun stamp requires TWENTY minutes in a plane instead of ten. All the stamps are like this versus the achievements. The stamps are always the same thing but harder and I think that would've been better. Having the "10,000 kills" stamp made into an achievement would've been too much but any of the other stamps would've made great achievements. Put more longevity into the game for us achievement hunters.

Saying stupid stuff like that stops people from wanting to write more guides. Just because there is already a guide doesn't mean that a better one can't be written. Also there is nothing about having 100 posts.

Serieusly tough. If the achievements would actually be hard 2 guides is O.K. But these achievements are just the easiest ever. They just require about 15-20 hours for tour of duty 2.

So: For the love of gods mods and admins... Sticky a guide so we can get this over with.

saying that you have to have 100 or more posts is just silly, stop busting the guys balls, he is obviously new and wanted to help other fellow gamers out, which in my opinion he has done so, so cut the guy some slack. saying that you have to have 100 or more posts is like saying that you have to have over 100k gamerscore to play co-op on certain games..
