You can record your compliments at 62 and try complimenting another 50 gang members. If you reach 112 compliments and still no achievements then I don't know what else to say besides start a new game.

It finally unlocked when I was doing a Tank Mayhem activity. It randomly popped when I was shooting at red dots.

I figured that since the vehicles show up on screen, there is no real reason to go into depth about their location. I was just going to make a simple list of vehicles so people can read the list and get to know what each car is before they tackle the vehicle thefts. Just to give them an idea of what to look out for.

I'm currently writing down each vehicle down on paper and transferring it to MS Word to edit. If you want to give me a list of the vehicles, it will save me time and it'll be much appreciated.

Maybe for the vehicle theft cheevo, include locations only for the cars that can be found in exact locations (i.e. Miami speedboat, Compensator, etc). The targets that drive around are not necessary.

I didn't know there was set locations for vehicles since I'm not done with all the theft missions yet. I'll add them when I see them. Thanks for the heads up.

Maybe, you could change the minimum number of playthroughs to 1.5 or so, because if you miss the Act 1 achievement you don't have to finish your second playthrough... Just thinking^^'

It's worth noting that some of the assassinations require angering the gangs to attract their attention, so they should be done before you wipe out the gangs in their respective parts of the city. I'm stuck on 3 assassination targets because there are no gang members for me to kill to draw the targets out.

All of the assassination targets can be done after completing the game. Just start up an activity such as Mayhem or Escort, get your noteriety up and head to the appropriate district and kill them there. Problem solved.

I'm thinking specifically of Almonzo and the Luchadores. I tried using this method by riling up the Luchadores in a Mayhem event, but when the event ended, my gang notoriety disappeared, and there were enough gang members left for me to trigger Almonzo's appearance.

for the We're Takin' Over (Complete 'We've Only Just Begun'.) ive replayed this level about 6 times already and i still have not unlocked this achievement. ive tried dashbording>loading up game again and nothing. even started a new game and still nothing. this is the only achievement im missing on the game to reach the full 1000G :/
is there a specific way to get it ?

Don't let the activity end, just get the noteriety along the border of the zone you need for the assassination then just run over. Doesn't appear to be a time limit for being out of the activity zone. Like I said this worked for me

I was having a hard time with snatch missions until I accidentally discovered a glitch of some sort. As long as you call the hookers you don't have to have them in your car, just drive back to the dropoff point and as long as you do it before the leaving behind homey countdown goes down, you get the credit, made even the hard level snatches a cake. Each time I did it I had at least one of them in the car though, so that might one of that factors of it occurring.

Sweet. Thats the only thing ive not done as far as the gangs/STAG stuff goes.

Just got to find the last 3 now.

Ive yet to get the last 2 assassin targets which is rather annoying.

I suggest waiting until you're done with everything such as challenges, assassinations, vehicle theft and so forth. Gang members are nearly non existent after the gang ops are done. Unless you do the Mayhem missions and what not.

Also, I'm finally back from Thanksgiving Vacation. Guide will be updated with a Roadmap and some more achievement descriptions soon enough.

Feeling the pain now. 930G and have to do assassinations (1 done so far), car thefts (5 done so far), find all the collectibles and all the random challenges for 1K.

One quick tip for the collectibles achievement: If you bought the Collectibles finder, you can go to your map screen and select only to see them then GPS them. It makes it way easier to find them.

I have done everything in the New Colvin district and no achievement. Does anyone know if you have to do the stunt jumps aswell?

No you shouldn't have to do them, did you purchase all the stores and properties, and do all the activities? If so maybe try restarting your game, possibly even clearing your cache first.

I for some reason did not unlock the Free Falling achievement (Act 1 story progression). I've already finished the first act and for some reason it did not unlock. It also did not unlock the 'Ow My Balls!' achievement until I started up the game today. Very strange. I am assuming I ran into a minor glitch and hopefully will not run into any further glitches. I guess after I am done with everything I'll start up a new game real quick to get that as well as the alternative Act 1 ending achievement....

can anybody tell me if I have to redeem the online passcode to unlock the cheevo for uploading a character online? I really want to play the uncut version, and unfortunately, here in Germany its impossible to redeem the code of the uncut version with a german account if its not necessary, i still could get the full 1000. Or is it sufficient to just create an account on thq.com to be able to upload the character?
