You can make the vehicle thefts a little easier (especially the ones where you have 4+ wanted stars), just buy the notoriety upgrades, get in the car, call up the homie and drive safely back to the drop off point.

So, what's the deal with Ow, My Balls. I got it to pop only after multiple kills of both types. Also in the video it clearly doesn't pop after he slugs a guy, but only on the next gang member who is either a woman, or a very convincing drag queen.

Glitchy achievement. It takes a while for the achievement to show up and in some casesyou need to perform the nutshots and testicle assaults. I'll replace the video for something less confusing.

I keep taunting gang members but my counter isn't going up. Still says 0/50 in my Saintsbook. Am I doing something wrong?

This is a great guide for someone who is just starting out on this massive game. As of today I'm sitting at about 500gs and I'm mopping up the rest of the challenges. Thanks for this!

Make sure they're not in combat and make sure that they are focused on you. It can only be done on rival gang members that are walking on the streets.

For those hard to deliever vehicles that keep getting blown up before you reach the chop-shop, at level 20 buy police forgiveness, after you jump in the stolen vehicle, access your phone call it in and blamo, no more cops. Easy car jacking...

Is it possible to finish the assassination missions if you have finished the game and took over the whole city? Andre for example, needs 4 notoriety with Morningstar to show up. Is it still possible?

Try replaying an easy activity such as Mayhem or Snatch that has Morningstar gang members in it. Once you complete it, there should be a couple of gang members around you so kill them to raise your notoriety and head over to the assassination area. For Andre to show up, remember that you have to raise your gang notoriety and kill anywhere between 3-10 ho's in the area.

Also, you may be able to join a co op game and g o for Andre there. I'm not certain about it since I haven't tried much of co op.

So for these two story related achievements "Party Time - Opulence, You Has It" & "Steelport Here I Am - We're Takin' Over", they never unlocked for me. Ive already completed Act 1 with both endings.
Is there a way to miss story related achievements ??

I have a save file early in the game, that im probably going to do to unlock these again, hopefully.

Good work man. Too bad the mods won't give this a sticky. Instead they have stickied a thread with zero work done and only made so he could be the "first" guy to post a thread on the game. Lame.

After several nutshots and testicle assaults, it unlocked when I blew up a car with a rocket while doing Guardian Angel.

Maybe the rocket goes through through the driver's balls or something.

Errgh, I've replayed the last mission twice to try and get the Mr. Fury would be proud achievement and it hasn't unlocked either time.

Edit: Nevermind, I didn't realize if you chose to chase killbane that there was another mission after that. I'm dumb.

Great guide. Do you have to play on a certain difficulty to get the achievements? I started a new Campaign last night as a female character on Casual and didn't get the Tower Defense or Gender Equality achievements.

Im pretty sure difficulty doesn't effect cheevo unlocking in the game

Hiya! Just a quick thing to help on one achievement... On "The American Dream",you can also go into any crib's garage for cars (not boats or planes) and customize them in there too. I just went in and changed one thing, went to the next car, and did that until the achievement popped. ^_^

It just seemed quicker than bringing 10 cars to Rim Jobs. I hope this helps! ^_^ Thanks for the guide!!

I'm not sure that is counting the same thing. Under the Stats menu it counts taunts to your own gang members, but the one in the Saints Book only seems to count taunts against other gangs. For compliments both counts match for me, but then I have never tried complimenting another gang.

Can you check how many "Penetrator" AND "the Fart in a Jar" kills do you have ?
and can you just toss the fart in the jar and beat the gang member with the penetrator at the same time ?

My counter for compliments and gang taunts are not 62 and 57 respectively, and Love/ Hate relationship simply refused to pop. I had Shake and Bake unlocked for completing my first challenge, which is doing 50 compliments, so that game clearly recognized that I did 50 compliments, but it doesn't give me the achievement for it.

I like this game, but it's disappointing how glitchy the achievements are.

I'm sure you know this, but those compliments/taunts counters add up for every person you taunt/compliment. For the achievement, you have to do it only on rival or friendly gang members. The challenge counts for everyone in the game.

You can record your compliments at 62 and try complimenting another 50 gang members. If you reach 112 compliments and still no achievements then I don't know what else to say besides start a new game.

Yes, my compliments were on friendly gang members (I went up and down the safehouse to spawn new members to compliment, and this was how my friend got his achievement), and my taunts were on rivals (had to shoot them after taunting since they always draw their guns).

does anyone know where the 3 Count, and Reactor strongholds are ? i need to get the pimped out pad cheevo, but blew up the Safeword so i cant do it there. please help

The very top and bottom of the left side of the map, I believe. I think the 3 count is on the bottom and the reactor on the top.

You can always go to your map, push down on the D-pad to Cribs and hover each crib to see the name of it too.
