Flight Mechanics Similar to BF3?

Hey,
I played this game awhile ago and I couldn't get the hang of the controls of it. I'm thinking it was because I was so used to playing games like bfbc2 and bf1942 where the flying controls were different. I had a lot of issues learning the bf3 controls but I'm now quite good at flying and I was hoping the mechanics were similar. I was just wondering whether or not I should go out and rebuy this game now that I feel that I'm good flyer using the bf3 controls.

Yes the flight mechanics are similar to BF3. Unfortunately though there is a known issue with the flight mechanics on the consoles, the choppers in A:AA will fight against you when trying to do quick pedal turns, making it feel a bit unstable. You have to sort of fly the chopper like a plane to get quick stable turns.
