I got lucky earlier and bought a promo gold pack for the first time and the "how great is that" achievement unlocked, i expected to find an IF player to sell to make some money to progress my premier league team, but there wasnt even a player rated higher than 79, im guessing the cheev unlocked because i had Amauri (77, rare) at the far right of my pack after the consumables!

Amauri has recently moved from Juventus to Fiorentina so im guessing the achievement unlocks for all the new transfer cards too!

Hope I am as lucky as some of the guys in this thread, Currently working on the Growing club cheevo and sitting at at club value of £57m with around 73K in my account.

So once I finally unlock the growing club one I will start working towards the pack king and with a little bit of luck along the way I will unlock this bad boy and put it to rest for a few months until FIFA 13 :P

I can confirm Vitiello doesn't work either. Got him a couple of times but nothing popped.

Not even Miguel Llera worked for me.
Looking back at his issue date I got him in a pack via Web App on 28/12/11 but the chievo didn't pop up until 1/1/12 when I got a gold IF Park in a pack back on the X360.
And I used the UT mode on the console during those 3 days and even bought some packs there.

Very Strange that so many people have had trouble getting this...

i think it was either the 1st or 2nd pack i opened after starting UT that i got the cheev...

just lucky i guess...

Just got the achievement after my 5th premium bronze pack that costs 1500, so I can confirm the achievement is still possible in 2013 (although I don't know what caused it to pop, it just did). This was a nightmare of an achievement, I will now finally go on to complete this game.
