so my brother hit level 100 today only playing quick match tdm.

He only has 1 onyx medal for reaching level 100..

point is, wtf was epic thinking when they made the xp requirement for the level 100, or kill amount for the weapons!?!?!

he has plenty of gold, but their only half way to onyx.

maybe a useless thread, but just a heads up.

(HE HAS NOT TOUCHED HORDE OR CAMPAIGN, LEVEL 100 ALL OFF OF ONLINE**** TDM, this is important because his level 100 came off of multiplayer only, so really he should've atleast gotten 1 onyx for a weapon)

What do you guys think?

Meh, the game is meant to last. Rank means very little as it can be a lot based on 'time played' as opposed to kills with weapons Etc. Like Onyx is meant to be really hard to get, as opposed to other games where it really isnt that difficult.

so really, wtf was epic thinking! they shouldve made it harder to get level 100. it sucks that i was too late on collecting the level 100! i just read *just got off of work* that one thread where the people are talking about the new amount of xp gains.

but i figure i should post this before haters join in and call him a no-life...

hes a senior in highschool, he works about 30 hours a week at mcdonalds on top of that, and he also has a very controlling girl friend who does not let him play xbox..

Well I figured this is the gears 3 forum ands just about Evey other thread is useless.. so I didn't think it'd be that big of a deal.

I really don't know the real point of this thread, I'm just so surprised that you can hit 100 without onyx medals.

hahaa, man I am just giving you a hard time. It is pretty incredible actually that he already hit 100. That is some serious skill and dedication.

Does your brother play with friends? Because damn there's almost no way he'd have a 3.4 k/d and a 4.6 w/l. Man I have like a 2.2 k/d and 2.9 w/l. I mostly don't have a high k/d due to the sawed off (otherwise it would be much higher). Also I tend to get stuck on a team that has a person go 1 kill and 13 deaths. Playing with friends who are also good is definitely much easier.

its just amazing anyone is a level 100 already.. i mean when gears 3 was waiting to be released, i didnt want to rank up as slow as gears 2 but like 3 times faster is insane! Now they lessened the amount you gain at the end of your matches (have not played yet) so i assume its going to take just as long as it did (if not longer) now than it did in gears 2.

cant really complain about that, but the whole time im playing with my brother ill just be thinking... that lucky SOB got his wings before the update!

he plays with friends, but none of our friends play as much as he does, so hes pretty much stuck by himself since he doesnt expand to "online friends"

i posted a youtube video of him on here the day after the game came out, but the mods removed it because they're cool like that.

theres the link. probably will get removed again, but check him out! this is the first night the game came out... the kids has serious skills.

Its funny because he always mentions how the sawed off is the only thing that ever kills him, and its only when he cant tell if they have it and he also complains about bad teammates, but he pretty much just carries for the win.

Tell him to remove "TDM i am very very good. I been having games like this all day so far. " from the description. Regardless of whether it is true it makes him look like a cocky douche. There is nothing but advantages to being modest.
