I had to create a new thread to reserve posts to have room to update the guide... sorry for any confusion

This is my first guide and also a work in progress... so, while constructive criticism is welcome, please be gentle and give me some time to confirm everything.

Overview:

-Estimated achievement difficulty: 4 /10

-Offline achievements: 9 (155http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg)

-Online achievements: 3 (45http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg)

-Approximate time to 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg: 20-25 hours

-Minimum number of playthroughs required: 1

-Number of missable achievements: None

-Glitched achievements: "Pimp My Worm" (fixable... see below)

-Do cheat codes disable achievements?: No cheats

-Does difficulty affect achievements?: No

Welcome to the Worms Ultimate Mayhem Road Map and Guide to 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg. Worms Ultimate Mayhem is essentially a port of Worms 4 on PC, but also includes all of the single player missions and challenges from Worms 3D. (None of the Worms 3D stuff is required for any of the achievements.) The bulk of your time will be spent attempting to win the 40 ranked matches required for the “Total Ranker“ achievement, but overall the game is a fun and straightforward 200http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/site/gp-g.jpg.

*Working on a proper Roadmap*

Complete the single player campaign

This refers only to the Worms 4 “Story” campaign and not the Worms 3D stuff. You do NOT need to complete the time bonuses for this achievement... just finish the missions successfully.

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/images/achievements/2055/UP-lK7o=.jpgTotal Ranker - 25G

Win 40 ranked matches in total across 3 or more game modes

(Hawaiian created an awesome guide for this achievement):

All in all there are 5 online game modes available in Worms Ultimate Mayhem:

- Deathmatch

- Survivor

- Homelands

- Statue Defend

- Destruction

In order to unlock this achievement you have to win 40 ranked matches (not 50 as the achievement tile implies) in total across 3 (or more) online modes.

Example: 35 wins in "Statue Defend", 4 wins in "Destruction" and 1 win in "Deathmatch".

You can either try to get 40 wins legit or you can boost. The only problem with boosting is that ranked online matches can't be limited to 2 players / 1vs1. Every lobby has room for 4 players. But as soon as 2 players are in the same lobby a 25 sec. countdown will start. If noone else joins in the meantime the game will start with only 2 players. So I'd suggest boosting in less popular online modes like "Statue Defend" or "Destruction" and leave the lobby if a stranger joins.

For the actual boosting keep in mind that there is no "Surrender" option like in previous Worms-Titles but I can confirm that if Player #1 quits it'll count as win for Player #2. Take turns in winning/quitting until each of you has won 40 times and the achievement will unlock.

(Thx again Hawaiian)

Kill a total of 200 worms (all game modes count)

This will come naturally by finishing the single player campaign, challenges, and going for your “Total Ranker” achievement.

Collect all the hidden Easter eggs in the game

There are a total of 5 easter eggs throughout the Story Mode worth 1000 coins each:

1) Level 5 “Destruct and Serve”

“88 MPH” Easter Egg

On the road to the left of the building you will see the now-famous DeLorean car. Destroy the car to unlock your first easter egg.

2) Level 10 “Nice to Siege You”

"Hidden Room" Easter Egg

The mountain you start on has a cave at the back with your 2nd easter egg inside.

3) Level 13 “Tin Can Wally”

"Shoot the Crapper" Easter Egg

Once you start, turn around and… well… shoot the crapper.

4) Level 18 “Carpet Capers”

"Hidden Crate" Easter Egg

The same glitch for this one that existed on Worms 4 still exists in this game. On your overhead map you will notice an enemy worm named “Egg”. The tower he is on top of contains some diamonds at the bottom. You will need to blast an entrance either in the top or on the little platform you will see at the bottom of said tower. You can access this easter egg early in the level, but if u get it before collecting all of the weapon crates it will show the opening cutscene and say,"Kill all of the enemies" again and will not count as finding the easter egg. Not sure if this is technically a glitch but i confirmed that after collecting all 9 crates and THEN getting the diamonds, it will say “you have found an easter egg”.

5) Level 22 “Escape From Tree- Rex”

"Feed the T. Rex" Easter Egg

Just fire a bazooka into the T-Rex’s mouth and you will collect your final easter egg.

Kill more than 3 worms in one turn in a ranked match

Ok so this IS a lot harder than i thought at first. Probably easier to boost rather than wait for the "perfect storm" situation where you can pull it off. You need to kill 4 worms minimum in one turn and your own worms do not count. I put myself in a pile next to 3 worms and drowned us all and didn't get it. I recommend setting up your team weapon as an airstrike with all 10 drops that push worms a lot so you can try to drown a pile when you find one... all 10 drops gives you a wider spread to do damage and/or push. Other tricks for getting multiple kills:

1) Poison, poison, poison! - the more worms with 1 point of health on the map, the easier it is to get multiple kills

2) Ropes can be used to move barrels and/or mines onto enemy worms and get kills without even technically using a weapon yet... so try to kill 1 or 2 this way and then use an airstrike elsewhere on the map if you can maximize your time

3) Grave damage from a dying worm can cause over 25 points damage to a closeby worm so, again in a perfect storm situation, you could shotgun 1 worm onto another, low-health worm and then hopefully do the same elsewhere... this requires at least 4 worms with 25 health or less in close proximity

Inflict 2000 damage in total using weapon factory builds

Make a custom weapon and assign it to your team. Now just remember to use your team weapon whenever possible and you will eventually get this. Does not matter what game type.

(Dannyboy and Myrmidont both had tips for this achievement)

Create 2 teams with custom weapons (the more damage they do the better) then start a versus game against two of your human controlled team.

Now group all the worms together in a pile and fire the custom weapon at them.

I think it took me 4 games to get it this way.

Getting the 2000 damage is easier if you turn on Double Damage from the Wormpot (you can turn on specific settings, FYI), and your custom weapon has Worm Damage turned all the way up. From then on, just blast to your heart's content until it pops. And just to clarify if anyone is wondering, worms that fall into the water from your weapon still count! When I got my achievement, the worm I killed fell into the water after flying high into the air, so all damage still counts as long as your custom weapon is the item used.

(Thx again Dannyboy and Myrmidont)

Win a game using only Grenades and the Bazooka

Just load up a Versus game with 2 human teams and make sure your main team only uses bazookas or grenades. The team you're killing can use whatever you want on each other to make it faster.

Just complete your first Story mission to unlock.

Create a team of worms with custom clothes

At the main menu go to “My Worms”, and then “Customize” and then edit or create a team and be sure to change their clothes. Some people have reported this achievement not unlocking... if this doesn't pop for you try creating a team but leaving the name as the default "Team 1" or also try purchasing a character set such as "professor" and changing your team into that outfit.

Purchase the Kitchen Sink game style

The “Kitchen Sink” style has every possible weapon in the game included in your inventory, and requires you to unlock all 5 character sets... Alien, Cyborg, Dino, Professor, and Wormstein, as well as purchase everything from the store. You will need to finish all 25 "story mode" missions, but don't worry about the bonus times on those. You will also need to finish AND beat the Team17 times in all of the challenges, including all 10 deathmatch challenges. After fulfilling these requirements and purchasing all 5 character sets from the shop,as well as purchasing everything else from the store, the "kitchen sink" style appears in the shop for free.

note: don't forget to play the tutorials and purchase the items unlocked by doing so

Hey Bobo, I have an easier method for getting I am the Worminator achievement.

I went to Homelands ranked list, and I used my custom airstrike that has 10 bombs, and I used it on the cliff, and I ended up knocking out all 4 worms off the cliff, and into the water. It was awesome, I won the match and got the achievement as well. By the way it was my very first turn.

  • 2 weeks later...

I have only skimmed this so far as I don't have the game yet and I was just checking what the achievements were like - what I have read has been good and detailed but at some points maybe to detailed....

"1) Level 5 “Destruct and Serve”

“88 MPH” Easter Egg

On the road to the left of the building you will see the now-famous DeLorean car (apparently we DO need roads after all, Doc). Destroy the car to unlock your first easter egg. Driver San Francisco also had an achievement referencing the Back to the Future movies… just kind of odd because I played them both in the same week."

Guides shouldn't have jokes or personal stuff like this in them. Apart from that it's looking good :)

Remember that once you have finished - get it submitted to be put onto the main site.

If you can, please help us get this guide published to the site, and get your name eternally imprinted on the site!

If you are the OP, this doesn't mean you can't finish it off on your own, do that and we will remove it from the Greenbook :)
