lol, I sold my Two quality Central Defenders for a combined £59,500,000 to partly fund the Deal for Lionel Messi.

As previously mentioned I sold Sorensen who starts at Juventus for £35,000,000 to Man Utd and I also sold Sakho who starts with PSG for £24,500,000 to Arsenal.

All of the good Left Backs like Ashley Cole are now really old in Season 5 and Fabio Daprela who I've had from the start has now developed into one of the best Left Backs in the World.

As for a bigger name Right Back the only Player I want for that Position is Micah Richards from Man City but unfortunately they won't accept any of my offers as they apparently don't have enough cover in that position. That situation has been the same for the last 2 Seasons!

Yes, he's a great Right Back who's physical and very fast. From memory I'm sure he's been at the Club just over 2 Seasons and I can't remember him having a single Injury during that time.

Sadly Eto'o demanded a transfer in the January transfer window, dealing a blow to my savings. However with the 54.5m euros (he's only valued 21m!), I spent an extra 10m and bought Neymar, who has been absolutely incredible, goals left right and centre.

Best buys (all prices in euros):
Neymar - 64.5m (he is fast, agile, and a great finisher)
Krul - 8m (kept me in games so many times this season, great shot stopper and pulls off some cracking saves)
Coates - Half season loan, buy out clause 5.5m (had already grown to rated 6m, he is a real unit, tall and strong and shrugs even the best off the ball)
Rafael Carioca - 13m (defensive midfielder with a bit of everything - great tackler, plays the ball forward well, good shooter too)
Movsisyan - 4.5m (best sub striker I could hope for, fast and tricky with a good shot on him)

A question though, my growth has been somewhat poor, in the first season only one of my side rose despite a 100% season, particularly annoyingly Daprela who was first choice, playing well and yet nothing. Second season has been better but I'm still a bit disappointed, any tips for better growth?

I have found some smashing buys in fifa 12 :

Aydran 16 from brazil ( u can find him by searching cause he is only 16) 66 start potentail at least 85 and he is a great passer. best to leave him in brazil till he is 18

Lucas piazon again 16 brazil striker leave in brazil till he is 19 for best potential.

assassdi plays for heevereen sorry for spelling 77 to 3 in two season lw great player who never lets you down.

El Shaarwaary from ac milan buy him in first january window on loan with an option to buy for two million more than he is worth. by the time you buy him at end of season he is already worth double what u agreed.

Roberto Carlos is a classic buy who play dm or lb he doesnt loss points and is almost 0 cost. Last 2 years and is great sub or injurie cover.

Can anybody else tell me of more 16 year olds at first season ?

Thibuat Courtois (GK) - only 19 year old GK with very, very acceptable skills

I've recently started a new Career Mode with Arsenal this time playing on Legendary Difficulty.

At the start of Season 2 I managed to sign both Cristiano Ronaldo for £92,000,000 and Lionel Messi for £125,000,000 after cashing in on most of Arsenals assets like Van Persie, Walcott, Gervinho and by receiving a healthy Transfer Budget reward for hitting my objectives in Season 1.

So far I've noticed that Difficulty does seem to effect Player Growth. For example David Hoilett on World Class Difficulty developed very quickly into a great Player, however over a whole Season on Legendary Difficulty he didn't even get +1. I'm getting similar results for old favourites such as Jordan Ayew, Fabio Daprela and others.

I'll Update this Thread in the near future with my full Arsenal Team at the start of Season 3.

Really surprised that Sorensen grew with 2 points, since he had such a long injury. Also glad that Vertonghen and Eriksen grew while they already had a high AVG. Pretty neat to see de Jong grow as well, he is getting better every match. Last but not leat, Shaqiri also showed me a quick growth, gaining both points within a month of each other

Rather disappointed that Clyne and Henriksen weren't able to grow, since they have played pretty much every match since I bought them. I also hoped Sergio Asenjo had grown more than he did, since he has made many good saves.

Currently a little more than 3 months away from the end of the first season, hoping to see more growth.

Some of the younger Players from my First Team like, M. ter Stegen, Sorensen, Shaqiri, Gotze and Neymar are Players that I am hoping for big Attribute Growth from, however as I've previously mentioned, Difficulty of the Matches does seem to effect the amount of attribute Growth a Player can achieve.

One big Arsenal Player missing from my Team is Jack Wilshere who I reluctantly decided to sell. This is because at the start of Season 3 when Wilshere was aged 21, Rated at 87 and Valued at £40,000,000 I received a bid of £60,000,000 from Man City for him. After rejecting that offer I got another bid from them of £70,000,000, which I also rejected. Man City then came back with a third bid which I felt was too good to reject of £85,000,000.

I've played a few Games in Season 3 with my latest Signings but to be honest I am struggling to enjoy playing with Neymar in the Team. His Strength is only 37 which makes him relatively easy to barge off the ball & his Stamina is only 49 which means he can only really play effectively for 45 Minutes per Match.
