Seriously this has to be on of the worst games I have ever played and I've played some bad games over the years! The graphics are awful and the controls/gameplay are just sluggish! Rubbish!!!

Homefront was really hyped. When i played it spent about 2hours on it single player + multiplayer worst fps IMO. truly awful.

I personally think its very good, well not the story but i really enjoy the multiplayer and find it a good alternative to COD or battlefield

I thought the storyline was just a cheap COD wannabe. Though it was decent in spots, the last mission on the Golden Gate is actually pretty cool, the rest of the game just didn't have scripting up to that quality. Now, if the last level had been the first, and it had continued on into fighting in San Francisco, that would have left a better impression. The first few levels are just too lame and cliche.

Never got too far in it...just not my cup of tea, guess I should rent it again and just try to get through it for completion purposes.

The game had so much potential too, it was really upsetting how poorly it panned out.

I hope you arent a completionist. Expert of war is at least 60 hours of boosting.

Far from a completionist, I do like to hover around 50% though. I rented Homefront, and just feel like I could give it another go around to wrap up the campaign. Currently only 21% done with it.

The only thing you need to learn about playing online is camping and going prone that's all anyone does in this game.

If you actually gave the game a proper chance you would realise that It isn't like that at all. I only ever play ground control I never have a problem with campers.

Hell, I can't even believe that I wasted a good $60 for that game. I bought it for OnLive, so that makes things worse. I haven't even beaten the campaign, and multiplayer was too weird for me.

I'm a level 50 in the game... I gave it a chance. Rooftop campers in prone. i I would say 80 percent of my deaths come from campers... Boring.

I have 1000G on this game which means I have played it for a minimum of 80 hours. For all the hype it had, this game sucks. If the game came out of nowhere then maybe I would give a somewhat passable review. Considering THQ and KAOS hyped this game to compete with COD/Battlefield, they deserve all the negative comments they get.

Just got to the game now, and it's alright. I was really looking forward to it (loved the idea behind the story) expecially hearing about several aspects before it released. All summer I heard about how it didn't meet expectations and such. Anyways after playing it finally, I think they were onto some good ideas, they just didn't quite nail it on the head. I play it for a bit longer and send it back to Gamefly. Worth th rental, but I would've been a little heated if I had paid $60 for it.

I absolutely agree, this has to be the worst FPS game I have ever played. There are so many things I hate about this game that I won't even take the time to list them all. The only positive thing I can say about this game is the fact that I rented and didn't waste my hard earned money on it.

It's pretty bad...but not one of the worst games I've ever played. Probably the worst game Ive played that was released this year though. If It weren't for a little gem called Turning Point it would probably be the worst FPS I played this gen.

Wow, this game is getting so much hate. It wasn't that bad. I found the multiplayer to be addicting.

It had a lot of potential. But the multiplayer was shit and the campaign was short.

I quite like the game although the ending made me angry, the game just stopped and it was finished. Online play isnt too bad, 1 hiding spot and a sniper rifle and im sorted.

When everyone compares every FPS to games like COD or Battlefield or even Halo, obviously it can't truly compete. But then again, why compare every FPS to those examples in the first place? A game can't be good enough to stand on its own merits anymore, so it has to play the black sheep to more popular franchises?
How many overhyped games do we see or hear about about World War II or some modern day setting or a Middle Eastern conflict? A lot. Now how many do we see or hear about an invasion of America that actually has a solid and hooking storyline? Exactly. Last edited by green light ops; 01-04-2012 at 12:37 AM. |

For $10 almost any game would be worth it.
