Does anyone know what the XPmutators are? I've been redoing challenges and I get these every once in a while.

They just give you some XP points.

The way X-Genes work in this game is rather strange, you can get multiple types from the same pickup. I'm not exactly sure how that works, but I believe after you can no longer get X-Genes from the pickup, you will start getting XPmutators, which is essentially just XP as Goat said.

When I had no XP, It gave me 300. I don't know if this varies, but its an xp reward.

XP Mutators are X-Gene replacements that give 300 XP instead of something you actually want or need.

-If you can't tell them apart, the XP Mutators are yellow tinted,
instead of the normal white tinted-
