Wasn't this DLC.... with a side of YAWN!?
So, when I first started playing this DLC, I thought it looked like a really cool idea. THe suite was cool, the inital guns were cool, and the mentality of your covert op mission requirements were cool. However, as the game went on, I became very, very bored! There wasn't anything that made me go, oh shit!!! THe Biowared the maps by putting, NOT BOUNDARIES MADE OUT OF CURTAINS AND BARRELS AND PLANKS OF WOOD (AKA STUFF THAT COULD EASILY BE KNOCKED OVER OR MOVED), but an actual Assassins Creed looking barrier. !
SO requisition forms were cool, but wow, so I can't pick up anything else for the rest of that mission???? ok... which brings me to my query, why only red items? Did the Dev offices catch fire, subsequently, endowing each employee with 3rd degree burns, granting them with pain pills, circumventing the fiery filibuster of this first Fallout filth!! ok So we were stuck with our weapons, and couldn't pick up anything else in the DLC, that's OK because its a simulation and we can't bring it out anyway. But what really started the over indulgent exhalation (yawning) were the missions, all of them, well except maybe the first one where you plow up the guns (done it, Halo Reach, and 3 I think). Our mission requirements consisted of some convoluted compulsion to clear and kill!!! Blow Up tanks, and clear out a building! Upon starting these missions, I put my self in the covert sniper mind set, and set off to commense on my missions... When breaching the dismal landscape, incarcerated by animus memory loss boundaries (Assassins Creed Reference), I amend my indolent attitude with clandestine-y contemplation, mindful proper covert disposition... then blew up tanks... Gonna cut it short and just write a review!!! But basically, the treasure in the end might pay off, but its not worth a buy if you are the type that actually like to play the games you purchase!! |

Personally, this was my second favorite Fallout dlc with Point Lookout being the first. I loved the idea and the scenery and the missions were pretty interesting. The Chinese Stealth armor you get at the end was great but I actually felt like I had spent my money well just getting the missions. The items at the end were just an added bonus.
