I also received my achievement! I am glad this finally happened since I had lost all hope in Crytek. I bought the game day 1 and after countless tries for this achievement I gave up, tried again on my bday in the new year and it finally popped for me.

I would like to play the first Crysis but after the terrible support for this game I want to tell them to get fucked. With a dwindeling population and glitchy achievements but they still ship map packs, I think I have officially lost all respect for this company. The only way I will purchase Crysis 1 is if it is on DOTW someday.

Bought the game 26/03/11, got to rank 45 then stopped playing for a while. Got a new Xbox in the following October and started playing Crysis 2 again in Jan this year thinking I might as well get the achievement but it hasn't unlocked for me either. So frustrating as I've still got my rank 45 profile! Tried playing on 1st Feb and on a Saturday as that was the day I first played on. Gonna try 26th Feb now hopefully it unlocks then...

Maybe it was contingency, but a friend tell me, the achievement works now.
So, i start the Game, join a Match (was 50 Sec. to finish), end the Round and its pops.
Try it. Maybe its realy working for all now.

I know its a little late to put my 2 cents in, Still playing on the first day of the month should unlock it. I got my Jan 1st and my friend got his Feb 1st (and we started playing in March). now I don`t know if time of day is a factor or not we played around 2-5 PM Eastern time, I suggest if the first match you play does not unlock it try many times throughout day. If it still does not unlock I`m sorry, you could be that 1 in a million that can never get it.

I popped this game 6 months ago for the achievement and just popped it back in today. The achievement unlocked making dedication the first and only achievement I have in the game. OH THE IRONY!!!

I was trying to do that, too -- making it my first achievement in the game, but I didn't realize there was an online achievement for MVP and instead that became my first one. Ironically, that was my first and only multiplayer match. I haven't touched the game since, waiting for my 6 month mark to come so it can be my second achievement unlocked. Lol.

I played the game mid August and yesterday played it again and no achievement, but I got all my stats reset. Will definatelly try to play May 1st to see if it unlocks

No not yet but since I got all my stats reset I am waiting for October because I started playing the game again in April.. untill October I am not expecting that dedication unlocks

Can you please provide any more info about this 'stats reset'? The only thing I found about it - that it can be done by gamesaving, which is illegal even in this case, I assume, and by a random Crytek-bug.

i played this game first time in september 2011, just 1 or 2 matches so 6 months later dedication achievement would be my first achievement in crysis 2. It should have unlocked in March or April this year but when I played it again in April I checked my stats and there were nothing, i had 0 matches 0 kills..i dont know why this happened but i expect dedication to unlock in 4 months..

Mine glitched today. Played my first online match on 12th Jan 2012 and today was exactly 6 months later....and nothing.

Played a couple of matches just in case and a campaign mission but still nowt. I'll try tomorrow before crying my eyes out

hey i have had trouble with this achievement Dedication
well i played 8 mts ago trying for this and when i did it was glitched and i did not get the chevo after several games and i tried again a month later gave up!
so today i put the game in dowloaded the update and played a mutiplayer game
Dedication chevo popped yes 100% done nice1

Played first in 31/05/11 and still nothing. When the 6 month mark passed I knew I was screwed... I did not played from June 6th until today, and still no cheevos for me! Thanks Crytek!

Good luck with that. I know that this year when the calendar became 01/01/12 a few people were able to unlock the cheev prematurely. I'd keep an eye out for that and hope for the best. I've got my fingers crossed that it'll fix it for me as it's almost 8 months for me now

Had no problems with this achievement. For a friend it popped just the first time he was playing Crysis 2 online. That was weird.
