Can't dig up the treasure on the bridge in S. Bay

I have been digging under the bridge where the X is on the treasure map for about a half hour and no dice. This is not the one where you have to find the fisherman to take you back, it's the other one. I have looked on various forums and I know that the treasure is actually under the bridge but it can be a bit hard to find the "sweet spot".

Any help would be greatly appriciated. I have really enjoyed this game. It is a bit glitchy and it's not a AAA title or anything, but European RPGs have a unique feel, it reminds me a lot of the First Templar

I had the same exact problem last night.

I'm almost finished with my first playthough and was trying to get all the treasures before entering the palace. I dug every spot down there, but no treasure.

I'm going to go for the rest of them and come back for this one later. If it's glitched, I'll try for it on my next playthrough.

(If I do find it, I'll post where.)

Yep... GOT IT!!!

I didn't go around the pillar (it seemed the way was blocked with bushes, trees, rocks), but if you go north of the pillar towards the rocks/mountain --- seemingly unpassable --- you can get behind it.

I hope it works for you, too.


EDIT: Now my problem is how do I get to the treasure on the northern part of the bay (I can't swim out there and there is no dock)?

EDIT #2: Nevermind, found that Hengfisk has to take you there. GOT IT!

Awesome! thanks man! I know how to get the other one in this area. You have to talk to the boatman in the waterway (not the gondoliers who are everywhere in Venice but the guy who helped you get to Venice at the start of the game)

he's still in the waterway as that's where we left him when we got to Venice. he can take you back to that small beach in the corner of the map to get the last treasure.

I have read that the boatman will disappear sometimes due to glitches though.

Now, just to enter the palace and dig up the final treasure and the achievement (hopefully).

Hope it will pop for you like it should. Thanks for the help on the other S. Bay one, it was right where you said it was, I didn't think I could go that far east.

Looking forward to polishing off the first playthrough tomorrow but first to grind to level 32 in the arena.

I think our next playthroughs will go much quicker as we can skip doing all the sidequests, level grinding, treasures, pale hearts, lockpicking and not using healing items.

The last treasure I had to get was in the garden in the SW corner of the Outer City. This otherwise fantastic guide mentions that there is a treasure in the Outer City but doesn't tell you where, it does show up on some other guides though;

Well, my "Treasure Hunter" achievement popped when I dug up the last treasure in The Palace Gardens! Thank God!!!

My XP stands at 30 (and a half). Hopefully not too much grinding from here to hit Level 32. I've got a few more quests to finish before confronting Victor.

My real concern at the moment (now that my treasure hunting is over) is that my Reputation is only at 1900 (need 2000 for the achievement). Hopefully there is 100 Reputation points in The Palace to be earned.
