Is anyone else having trouble getting that lawn mowing achievement? I've mowed the lawn in the park three times, then it just keeps repeating itself. Is there a specific time to get in trouble to give you lawn mowing detention? I always end up at the principals office, with no lawn mowing duties.

No, it is about 3 trips per punishment. 70, 80, and 90% punsihment jobs. Then you get the achievement.

there's a second lawn mowing job, at someone's house. i THINK it unlocks after winter. i could be wrong.

not sure whether the lawn-mowing achievement counts detentions. i suspect it doesn't. can some one who has it confirm?

The lawn mowing achievement is actually ONLY for the detentions. I was in Chapter 1 (before you can leave the school) when I got it. Unless mine was glitched...

Weird, I unlocked the achievement without having done detention a single time.

However I did have to do 9 levels of the detention mowing to unlock the prison outfit, which coincidentally did not move my completion percentage.

yeah, i was sorta wondering how you had the lawn mowing achievement, but no chapter 2 achievement. when did you get it? 9th detention? or just randomly? might be a glitch.

Here is where I am at so far, with story mode completed...

- 97.76% completion

76 Mission completed (putting this here to see if I missed one)
All classes complete (with 5 failures)
All races and jobs completed (14 bike, 8 go-kart, mowing, 6 paper routes)
All clothing bought
All Collectables collected
All carnival games and rides complete
All trophies

and all the other mini-objectives are done EXCEPT for complete all night errands.

Here are the areas I'm concerned with...

In my clothing, I do not have the nerd watch or 80's rocker bracer, though I have both outfits. I don't have the glamour pants, though I have the gold suit. I do not have the BMX champion outfit, the nutcracker outfit, the racing outfit, or the panda costume, though I have done the requirements for them (I even have the panda head, but no outfit.)

My other major concern is that I have done 38 errands (that leaves about 10 or 11 left to do). I have gone through the lists on these threads, went to those locations at multiple times of day on multiple days and no blue x's seem to be popping up. Even if they did start showing up, they only give about .04% each, which wouldn't end up being enough to give me 100%.

Any suggestions or thoughts would be much appreciated, I'm hoping not to waste countless hours looking for stuff if it has, in fact, glitched and I can't get the achievement.

PS -- I have every achievement except for PERFECTIONIST.

I was watching closely for the Lawnmower achievement. Thought I was glitched as I did not see the second lawn mowing option appear. However, I think above poster was correct as I saw the second lawn appear right after winter. Was able to complete that one and get the achievement. I have not had detention yet, so that may be a different route for getting it.

All Rubber Bands
All Cards.
All Lawns Cut.
All Paper Routes Done.
All Bikes/Go Kart Done.
Done all the Carnival.
A Few Items of clothing left.
A Few Classes left.
One Photo Missing.
26/40 Trophies.(How the fuck?)

The Bold writing in no way is going to get me to 100%

Help me.

I'm in chapter 4 and never did any snow shoveling. Is there any way I can still get 100%?

I'm still in Chapter 2, not rushing through the game and got the lawn mower achievement, I've did the punishment lawn mowing on the small lawn next to the preppies dorm and level 3 mowing in the Bullworth Vale park and I got the achievement, so it seems to be pretty random.

i suggest doing it by one of the shops, where you can buy more eggs.

For eggselent just egg 25 different cars with eggs. Each carton holds 12 eggs. So you will need at least 3.

"green thumb" (the lawn-mowing one) seems to be "mow 6 lawns" and NOT "complete all lawn mowing jobs" like it says. i got it on the fifth lawn mowing job, but having served one detention. (i think sengiv reported he got it on his 6th detention, no jobs)

I was having trouble with the green thumbs one too. Although, as I play now, it's winter...I'm guessing I'll get it a soon as all that powder melts.

yes, the house lawn mowing job spawns in spring, so that's when you'll get it.

For those of you wondering if you have to be a man-whore or not, the answer is NO.

The OVER THE RAINBOW achievement can be had by making out with the same guy over and over. Trent is the easiest to put the moves on.

Seems like most of the achievements can be had from doing the same thing. (I.E. Kicking the same soccer ball over and over, making out with the same girl, etc, etc)

Its 100,000 meter not km. That makes it 100km, and dont worrie you will get it by the end of the game or you will be close to it.

Can anyone tell me exactly when the Sophomore achievement pops up? My Freshman one popped up as soon as I gained control of Jimmy in Chapter 2. But now I'm on Chapter 3 and don't have the Sophomore achievement.

save. turn it off completely, restart.

otherwise, it'll probably pop up randomly somewhere, if you keep playing. other achievements seem to trigger it. had the same problem with "junior"

if that doesn't do it... i guess the patch will.

Ok thanks. I'm at work so I can't try it now, but I will when I get home. Actually after I started Chapter 3 all I did was the Nerd Challenge and three missions for drunk santa then saved and quit. So I'm hoping it will pop up when I load my game.

edit: well loaded my game and achievement unlocked. That's a relief.

how do you give flowers to girls , i see 10/10 in my inventory but i dont know how to give them away to make room so i can pick more

Have you finished all the art classes? If so you don't need to give gifts anymore, in which case try and give flowers to Trent the blonde bully.

Are you able to do get the lawn mowing achievement at the end during endless summer, or does it have to be done during the chapters. I guess 2nd question would be can you still get busted during endless summer?
