Playing two games at once on one account
Hi i was wondering if it is possible and also allowed to use your xbox live account to play two games at the same time. Im thinking it would work if you have your xbox 360 playing a game without connection to live but still signed it to your profile and at the same time using your gamertag signed in to games for windows live or on another xbox 360. I was thinking about doing this so that i can leave my 360 on with viva pinata to get the 50 hour achievement whilst offline and at the same time i would be playing gears of war on my pc with my gamertag but in online play. So does anyone know if it will work? And is this allowed? Im sure they would have no way of telling if your playing offline they cant see.
Sorry if i worded this badly i don't have an excuse that english is my second language i just couldn't think of how to condense it down. Thanks for all the help.

It might work if you just sign in with your xbox after the pinata achievements...but I don't know for sure. I'm not quite sure how it works, but potentially you could end up losing your pc achievements when you sign in with your 360 on live. It might update your card to the latest one, which doesn't have the gears achievements. Just a possibilty as I don't know what will happen. If you do it, good luck!

I've always wanted to know this same thing, please let me know if it works. It does seem possible, especially if one is offline.

Ok guys, i found that it does work. But im going to be careful with achievements because like someone said if you get one offline then sign in somewhere else it may lose that achievement so when im close to the 50 hours i will just do one at a time.

I hope it works out for you, I would just be worried about losing your 50 hour achievement once you sign into live on your console. That's a lot of work to get deleted.

Pretty sure you can because it only signs you out if both consoles are trying to use the account for Live, and without an ethernet chord the 360 cant tell

Of course you can do that! Only, if you want to keep that offline achievement, you will have to go online for it to save. Although, you might wanna log off of the Gears of War playing account when you do.
Then again...I'm pretty sure you have to transfer accounts? Or you don't? What the hell? |
