Legendary Performer Achievement GLITCHED

Has anybody experienced this achievement glitch in lips? i can get a top 1000 ranking, and the cup apears whilst your still singing. Even turns silver if you get top 500 before the songs done, but... when the scores finished adding up the cup isn't falling from the sky like it should when your avatar catches it. This is preventing me from completing the game and i'm wasting hours attempting various work arounds hoping i can find a fix. Can anyone who's had this happen to them help?
