How do you guys like the game so far?

I think its pretty fun dungen crawling action. Sweet gear and weapons, that kind of decide what abilities you will be best at. The gameplay is fast-paced and feels smooth. A few things i did not like was that it appeared to be free but was not, you can buy in game gold with real money, and there is no levling up or xp. All in all i think its worth the points you buy it for. Whether that be 800 or 1200. Then again i am not very particular when it comes to games like this. Since there's so few of them on console i mean.

I love it. It brings back those happy memories of playing Gauntlet so many years ago. On top of that, it has some good RPG elements, looks fantastic, and has awesome replay value. I've been playing with a friend through co-op all night and we had a great time.

I do think it's a good game. And to reiterate, brought me back to the gauntlet days too =P

I unfortunately do think 3 character classes is not enough, and some levels lag due to either enemy numbers or background effects (waterfalls etc sometimes slows the game down)

Pro's being
-4 player co op
-Lots of stuff to buy so you can mix and match your skills
-Nice story/narratives in character bio's

Con's being
-3 characters for me isn't enough
-Glitches/lag on some levels are annoying
-As much as i liked to story...i thought it was too short. and ended too abruptly.

But all in all i enjoyed it, and will continue to play it

Its only fun in coop, halfway trough the game playing as a wizard i got kinda bored going solo.

I rarely got bored in Torchlight/Daggerdale shit even Arkadian Warriors, but thats also because you had something to look forward too.

Basically now i can start up the game and play some challenge map and goldfarm then continue to do that until i got enough to go apeshit in the last shop in the game = Maxed out character.

Time = everything i wanna fucking devote myself to a game and grind myself to death until my character is awesome.
In this game that happened after i saved enough gold...

DOTW game imo and i would rate this between 6-7 its not all bad but its not want i want devs to release either, only thing this proved is that CA wasnt ready to create a masterpiece

I quite enjoyed the game but I knew I would but I only think I can enjoy it co-op since that tends to be how it is with most Dungeon Crawlers! Only Torchlight and Diablo II I have enjoyed solo and even then I would much rather play co-op

I do plan on grinding out gold and such to get some awesome weapons and maybe even beating it with each character assuming my co-op partner is down!

I can't argue with pretty much free though since I picked up all Summer of Arcade games.

Can't say thati liked it as much as I would have liked. Dungeon crawling is only good when you have something to look forward to. No weapon drops or xp? I can't really see what I'm working towards. If I can buy wraps/armor, why can't I sell it? I for disconnected.

I jumped in xbl, got together with a stranger and beat the game in one sitting. I'm all for Gauntlet and how basic it was, but I don't see the replayability of this game at all.

Graphics are ok. Feels like a korean knock-off of dungeon siege.

The multipliers / gold medals are a royal pain. Miss one mob or an arrow or two and there goes your gold.

More frustrating than fun.

I love this game. Reminds me of Dungeon Runners before they shut it down like 2 years ago.
I hope they add an archer later on with DLC. I'd love to wield a bow or crossbow in this game.

Graphics almost fall short of what one should expect from an XBLA arcade game.

The story doesn't have much of a climax, is trite, overly predictable, but too tired to be anything near an amusing form of kitsch.


There are no levels, or experience. Zero character customisation.
The only customisation you DO have is in your armor, but the game leaves you little choice [no unique items, and huge differences in top tier equipment]. So you're a cookie-cutter build.

You can be run through the game [if your host has completed it, or has had someone do equip runs with them] in less than 2 hours.

I'd pass on this game, even as a gift. A very dull, drab, and unpalatable hack'em.

@previous posts
Gauntlet, Gauntlet Legends, etc. were much more fun. And Nethack is available as an "indie" game, though it's called something else.
