Weapon Skins Thread

This is a complete list of all weapon skins that will be included in the game. There are 29 in total, 7 of them unlockable, detailed below, and the other 22 will be purchasable through an in-game store.

NO Trading/Selling/Giving away DLC codes of any kind.

Golden

Lancer: Play online during the first week of release/Veteran Gear achievement/have it unlocked in Gears 2
Hammerburst: Play online during the first week of release/Veteran Gear achievement/have it unlocked in Gears 2
Sawed Off: Commando achievement- beat Gears 1 on insane/Veteran Gear achievement
Retro Lancer: 100 kills with it during the beta/Veteran Gear achievement
Gnasher: Veteran Gear achievement

Chrome

Lancer: Don't HATE the player achievement (Gears 1) Finish a ranked match with the highest amount of points
Hammerburst: Dirty Dirty Horde (Gears 2) Complete the first 10 waves of horde
Retro lancer: Domination (Gears 1) Complete 10 chapters in Coop as Dom
Sawed Off: Have any achievement from Gears 1 pc
Gnasher: Complete the campaign on all 3 GoW games on any difficulty

Liquid Metal

Flaming (no longer obtainable)

Hammerburst: Play a match during the first week of the beta exclusive to those with Bulletstorm epic edition.
Lancer: Play a match during the second week of the beta.
Sawed Off: Play one match during the third week of the beta.
Retro lancer: Seems to be unlocked for people with no real explanation.
Gnasher: Play one game during the fourth and final week of the beta.

Onyx Skin: Unlock the onyx medal for each weapon (6000 kills)

I downloaded the Season Pass, and I am not seeing the Liquid Metal weapon skins. They're not even in the possible list to purchase. Has anyone else experienced this??

Other than that, everything else worked; my Gears 1 and 2 achievements, beta stuff, etc. But I was pretty excited after my friend told me about the free Liquid Metal ones that come with the Season Pass until I realized I didn't even have them.

Any help or advice would be great.

The Liquid Metal ones are not ones that are "colored" such as the green, or team ones. It is already in your available skins list though so look toward the bottom in the Multiplayer options menu.

The title one? It's a bunch of skins merged together. I would kill to have it ingame though.

They're trying but most likely nothing will come from it.

The skin at the top is a little custom artwork done by me combining a bunch of them. unfortunately it's not in game

I have 2 questions:

1) Does anyone know if EPIC is looking into correcting the DOMINATION achievement skin unlock? I have the achievement, unfortunately earned offline so it's not unlocking for me. Or is that pretty much a TFB situation?

2) The 2 skins that come with the DLC, Team Plasma and Jungle Camo, will they be FREE skins unlocked for doing something? Or are they NEW skins to PURCHASE?

1. Epic is removing the timestamp requirement on domination.

2. They come with the dlc and are useable as soon as you download the Map pack just like the new character skins.

I've looked but so far nothing. The place to keep an eye on is definitely the link at the top of the post since that is the official Epic catalog. If anyone finds a pic or youtube video be sure to post it.

*It was a picture regarding all the characters/skins on Blood Drive.

Not the best photo but it does show the skins somewhat, personally the Jungle Camo looks kinda neat.
But I will be sticking to my Gold Gnasher and IO/Green Liquid Lancer :P

Yea if you take a look at my photo the Onyx guard is holding a team plasma Lancer and its blue waves going across it like your video. So more then likely you are correct.

I will be honest though...it does seriously look like the guns in that picture is the same as the Jungle Digital...maybe slightly different

If you look closely at the lancer the onyx guard has, you can kind of make out the blue the looks alot like the red in the vid I put up above.
