Server Drops
Quite often recently I've been getting disconnected alot I dont think its my fault though it wasnt like that before maybe they've bitten of more than they can chew and there is to many people on this now. Anybody else?

I've been dropped only one time so far in the approximately 10 hours I've played.

I just experienced a server drop. I was like 10 minutes into a defend city center for 15 minutes game when it happened. So annoyed right now.

The drops I experienced before didn't happen at this time there should be a save function if this happens

Just had another one. I was probably 25 minutes into a match. I'd built up a really good army and bam.

Just got dropped again. Luckily I was only in my city checking out loot I'd just received.

I play AoEO on a laptop with wi fi my friend plays it on a desktop pc with an ethernet cable he says he never has drops. from examining other forums i see that like half the community are saying they are getting disconnected all the time and half are saying they arent so now i'm just plugging in my ethernet cable and there seems to be less drops. heres hoping this is the solution.

My PC is hardwired and I've been dropped 3-4 times.

I've never been dropped either. I play most the time hardwired on desktop but a few hours here and there on wifi laptop.
Though a friend of mine no longer plays the game because he got dropped so much. We were on the same server (abydos) so I don't know what his probably was. |

had it twice this morning both on missions where i was a minute or two from the end - needless to say i was not happy

I wasn't dropped in the first 80 hours I played this then one day I got dropped up to 3 times within a few hours.. Haven't been dropped since.. that was at least two weeks ago.. I'm on a desktop (wi-fi).
