Stewie overall, with Brian a close second. Some of the conversations they had were pure gold. I think as a whole those 2 worked best as a pair compared to anyone else e.g Peter and Lois, Meg and Chris. The insults, jabs, gay comments, disses etc. were often quality.

When I do watch Family Guy, I would have to say I love Peter. He is probably my favorite. Although I watch more Simpsons or Southpark than Family Guy, but I do watch it occasionally

Stewie, but he was a lot funnier when his character was geared more towards being a megalomaniac than a closet gay.
Away from the main characters, Consequela the Mexican maid and that black guy in the TV news centre who just shouted one word crack me up. |

Besides Peter, I have to say Adam West might be the funniest character on that show. Everything he says is ridiculous and hilarious it seems.

Brian is incredible. Only problem is Seth seems to think that, even though it's his Mary Sue character:

As a solo character, Peter. But Stewie and Brian are funnier as a double act. People say Quagmire but he's only funny when he's reacting to something another character has done. He's like Trapper in M*A*S*H, good but overrated

My favorite character in family guy has to be Stewie just because the thought of a child being so mature and going on trips to distant places and his parents don't even notice.
