Completed all vigils except this one. Have countered and killed many enemies with 1-3 squares of health but no result. What am I doing wrong?

You need to do it when YOU are at low health. Hope this helps.

First of all, make sure you have Lunkhead Liqueur activated. It gives you 100% kill on a counter.

Be sure your health is low enough and just counter for an instant kill. I got mine on the shield proving ground. I found this pretty easy to get.

Finally got this one. I was at aprox 5% health and the mob was at 1 bar of health. He used a melee attack and I did a perfect counter.
