Catherine Gamerpics in OXM

I got my latest subscription issue to the US OXM, and there are five Catherine gamerpics on the disc. It's the September 2011 issue #126 with Brothers in Arms on the cover.

I have the Catherine pic set as my profile picture. There is also one of Katherine, Vincent, Erica and Trisha.

Edit: So, I went out and bought the September issue. I think the disc I got is defective. Won't read, or when it does. Just shows me a Xbox 360 screen and thats it.

That sucks.

You can try exchanging it at the store, though some stores may give you trouble for trying to exchange a magazine. One month I had to exchange two different copies at Target before I got one that worked.

If that fails, OXM does replace discs.

Yeah, I went to the disc replacement page it only gives me an option for May, June and July. So, I found an email for the main company and tried emailing them asking about it. Hopefully hear something back.

I did think about going to the store, but figure since I opened it already, they'd take it.

Finally found and bought one off ebay which also came with the previous 19 issues for only $0.99.

To make it easier, you can also get the avatars/wallpapers off of the Catherine website. It has alot more of them and they're all free. And you can make it your gamerpic using Xbox.com(edit your profile).

What do you mean? You can't do that on xbox.com? they're just image files, not gamer pics

Edit: I noticed there is an area on the cell phone called "???"
Is it a redemption code or something?

Yea I just noticed that they have changed how you change your pic on the site. So scratch what I said about that(.=_=.). And as for the "???"...I really don't remember what that was for. Haven't been on the site in awhile, but it wasn't anything worth remembering(or else I probably would) Also if you replied to Catherine's text each day she will give you a special pic or message. I don't know if it still works since the game is out already.

They should of been made unlockable through the game somehow but oh well, the mag's just as good. =)

I emailed the company who does the Xbox magazine. And got a retarded email back:

Thank you for contacting Official XBOX Magazine.
Microsoft, who we hold the official license with to publish The Official Xbox Magazine, announced in 2006 that they will cease support and production of all original Xbox consoles and games at the start of 2007, paving the way solely for 360. As the exclusive publisher of their magazine, we must therefore change our format. Going forward, The Official Xbox Magazine and its accompanying demo disc will devote all resources towards Xbox 360 content.

To try and explain in another different, yet similar way, we also publish PSM (The Independent Playstation Magazine). When we first started with PSM, it was devoted to solely PSOne. With the launch of PS2, we continued to run the magazine, yet this time covering both consoles. We subsequently switched to only PS2 as the market and production of PSOne had come to a close. The same will happen once again with advent of PS3. We will more the likely run the magazine for a while to cover both consoles, as Sony is still producing PS2 games, and there is still a very prosperous market out there. In time we may devote solely to PS3, but that has yet to be decided. Now, back to Xbox. Since there will be limited, to no production of any future original Xbox games, the need (and dare I say the support from Microsoft) will just not be there.

Hope they add these gamepics and more along with Catherine themes on xbox marketplace. Would've been a whole lot better if they were unlockable in the game though. Maybe an unlockable "Rave" avatar shirt would've been cool.

Seriously, though... after playing hours worth of Babel... that Rave Shirt, the Red Pants and the Brown Boots look 100x times cooler than what I initially thought.

Not that I can recall. Honestly, I usually only care about the exclusive gamerpics. I'll check out the disc at lunch and post the contents.

As to the other comments hoping that these will be released for sale at some point, I highly doubt they will, as they are exclusive to OXM. It's possible that Atlus will release different Catherine gamerpics, but not likely this set.

Not the greatest gamer pics But you can just use gamerpic injector and a USB if outside the USA since the discs are region locked.

How would you go about doing this? Catherine is not in the list of games in gamerpic injector and neither is OXM.

You can find the gamerpics on www.gamer-pics.com .
I found them for you already just add this code into 'new game' in gamerpic injector...

In future just use that site, right click on any pic you want and select 'copy image location'... the part you want from the link you get is like above... (i highlighted in bold/underlined)
