For those who have a Facebook, if you go like or already like the Gears of War page, on the side their will be an option to unlock Griffin in the multiplayer.

Thanks for this! I liked the Gears fanpage a while back so it is nice to get some added bonuses.

Quick Question: Where do I go to input the code? It says hit the Xbox button but I don't see one. Is this for after the game releases?

If your on your xbox click the guide button in the middle of the con
go to the far left then redeem the code it should work but obviously you need gears 3 to use it

Thanks for that one! Though I'm just glad we finally get some playable female characters in 3 - all that testosterone was starting to give me a headache.

Awesome. It nice that Griffin will be a little exclusive to Gears 3. Anyone can get him with ease but you still have to do something to get him. He's may be one of my most used characters in multiplayer so I'm glad the entire gears audience won't be able to use him without a little effort.

Put the code in on your xbox and itll say do you want to download griffin blah blah blah click confirm and you can download it now you just cant acess till you have gears but thats obvious.

So yes it works if you download it now

Yeah I didn't see an Xbox button either, I think they meant to hyperlink to the xbox.com Redeem URL but forgot it. The code is active now though, so just put it in through your console or on xbox.com (link).

I think he is exclusive to Facebook. If he were unlockable in the game there wouldn't be much reason for Facebook to be involved. Either way its so easy to unlock him now that you might as well do it instead of having to earn him in Gears 3.
