Achievement Guide and Roadmap
Overview
![]() Introduction Welcome to Catherine! This game has 50 achievements for a total of 1000 A fair portion of the achievements are simple enough to obtain, however the outrageous difficulty of getting gold prizes on Hard along with beating the Babel stages will take a level of expertise and practice. This game isn't like most, it requires cognitive abilities, improvisation, and thought processing to win. Not for casual gamers! Golden Playhouse This is where you play Catherine's Story Mode with your hostess, Trisha! There are 9 total stages and each stage has a certain number of floors totaling up to 27 puzzles in the game overall. There are also 8 different endings to the game based on the decisions you make in confession, text message, etc. You will unlock several unmissable achievements as you progress through the story and one for each time you beat a Nightmare stage. During the day you also have the freedom of helping patrons at the Stray Sheep in need. Upon completing the Golden Theater you will unlock Welcome to Colosseum. The following achievements can only be unlocked in Golden Playhouse mode:
Here are the more difficult portions of the game. This is where you play the block stepping puzzle game where you pull, push, and climb blocks to avoid death. Between some stages are Landings where you can SAVE your game and chat with other deranged sheep who can offer helpful techniques to improve your climbing skills. There is also a merchant that offers helpful items at each Landing. You will have to collect all enigma coins and finish each stage very quickly on high difficulties in order to net all the achievements for this game! There are 3 different prizes you can win after each stage: Bronze, Silver, or Gold. Gold is usually only possible if you never break your chain and collect all the enigma coins. There are also block-related achievements within some stages that can be acquired. If you ever get stuck on a certain stage see the respective achievement for it below for help. Step 1 Law Playthrough Begin your first Golden Playhouse playthrough on Normal difficulty. This is the playthrough where you will follow the Law alignment so make sure you are positive in your answers throughout the game whether it's through text message, confessionals, or conversations with friends. From the start, the game will immediately throw you into a puzzle. If you make a mistake during the puzzle then hit to undo a move, this only works on Normal difficulty and under. You don't need to focus on getting gold prizes in the stages on your first run, you can simply replay stages from your cell phone at anytime later in the game for the gold prizes. There are 9 stages in all with each one containing a certain amount of floors. In between floors are Landings which are pit stops where you can chat with other sheep who are also trying to survive, some can even give you helpful advice. Once you enter confession and answer the question it moves you on to the next floor. The final floor is usually a Boss stage where you must escape some evil manifestation, these are the most intense stages in the game. It's important that you use techniques given to you by sheep when you're in a squeeze, plus there's always the video walkthroughs in case you get frustrated. Once you complete all floors of a stage Vincent's dream will end and you will be back in the real world. Stray Sheep Bar During this playthrough be sure to speak to everyone in Stray Sheep bar and encourage them if they have problems. Some patrons don't show up everyday so make sure you do this for all 8 days to get Everyday Hero. Hit up the jukebox for Play It Again...Vince plus order and drink all 4 alcoholic beverages each day to work towards the tidbit achievements. There are also random task achievements you can get during your first playthrough, see Miscellaneous. Make a save at Stage 9-1 so that you can get 3 endings per playthrough for each alignment. Once you complete the game you will unlock an Ending achievement(see Endings) and also Welcome to the Colosseum. Step 2 Chaos and Neutral Playthrough Now use the next 2 playthroughs to get the rest of the endings. On your second run follow the Chaos alignment and answer questions in a negative manner to get the 3 other endings. Make a save at the Stage 9-1 Landing and reload it twice more to get the other Chaos Endings upon beating the game. Finally, on your third playthrough make this your Neutral run by varying your answers with positive and negative responses to keep your karma in the middle by Stage 9-1. If done correctly you will get the neutral ending upon beating the game. The game only requires 3 full playthroughs to attain all endings, plus if you get gold prizes on some of the Nightmare stages then you can skip them the second go round speeding up subsequent playthroughs. If you have missed any other miscellaneous Golden Playhouse achievements be sure to nab them on your 2nd or 3rd go round. Note: I strongly suggest replaying all stages and gold prizing them after your first playthrough. Just load up your previous save file and play them from your phone by going to AWARDS. Getting gold prizes will allow you to skip through all stages and cutscenes in future playthroughs allowing you to nab the Ending and miscellaneous based achievements faster. To skip a scene or stage hit then go to "Skip". Read further for more info.Last edited by FeLizP; 08-27-2012 at 06:36 AM. |

Phone Mail Throughout the game at the Stray Sheep, Vincent can receive numerous text messages and phone calls from Catherine, Katherine, Trisha, and others. Some of these have no effect and are purely informational, while others impact the karma meter and can have a large effect towards Law or Chaos. Text messages usually come after you hold multiple conversations with customers at the Stray Sheep, try speaking to them all twice to get text messages faster. To answer or pull up your phone at anytime while at the Stray Sheep, press . You will earn Text Junkie once you send 20 text messages so make sure you vary your replies because there a prerequisites for getting certain text messages. Other features of your cell include saving your game, replaying stages and notifications on your latest accomplishments. To replay a stage bring up your phone and go to AWARDS. From here you can retry previously completed stages for the gold prizes. To save your game, go to DIARY.Endings There are 8 different endings to Catherine, based on many choices you make during the course of of the game, and some hefty ones at the end of it. Endings are based on where your karma meter(pictured above) stands by the end of the game. Each ending completed will unlock 1 achievement. Completing all of them unlocks Dreams Come True. Once you've completed the game and start a new one, you are allowed to skip any puzzle sections that you received a gold prize on, allowing you to quickly obtain all endings. Although there are 8 endings total, it should only take 3 playthroughs to get them all. During Stage 9, you are asked four different questions. The answer to the first question doesn't affect anything. The answers to question 2 and 3 influence what question 4 is, and all the questions together (along with your karma meter) change what ending you get. It is possible to get 3 endings per playthrough by making a save after stage 9-1, however you will have to replay the stages and face Thomas Mutton again. Prioritize your playthroughs and follow either Law, Chaos, or Neutral 100% all the way to get all the endings for each run. For help with Endings and how to get them see HERE. For a list of all confessional questions and answers see HERE. Note: Some endings such as the True Lover and Cheater Endings require you to have maximum Law/Chaos in order to unlock. Be mindful of this as if you don't you will get Normal Endings instead. It would be best to simply focus on "Law" or "Chaos" choice-only playthroughs to prevent this from occurring with other endings you attempt. Step 3 Rapunzel Game Rapunzel is the retro in-game arcade machine in the Stray Sheep which mimics the gameplay of Catherine itself. There are 128 levels in total (64 levels in each mode), and you are allowed to play 3 times per night. Once you finish the game, 'Free Play' unlocks on all your save files, and you can play for unlimited time. Rapunzel progress is also saved independently from your save games, so it carries on between games. Rapunzel differs from the main gameplay in that there is no time limit to complete the stages, but you are limited in the amount of moves you can make, making it more strategy-based than the Nightmare levels. There are three achievements related to beating the first 64 stages, unlocking the Extra stages, and fully completing all 128 stages and finding all the hidden items. The stages can be tricky and tedious so you may get stuck at some points, see HERE for assistance with all 128 levels. All Rapunzel-related achievements are:
Babel Mode This is an unlockable game mode you receive once you get enough gold prizes throughout Story mode. In Babel there are 4 different towers to climb with blocks dropping in a completely random pattern which makes this portion of the game's achievements extremely difficult. You unlock more Babel stages when you collect gold prizes for Nightmare stages in Golden Playhouse, there are a total of four unlockable Babel Stages in all. Getting your first gold prize will unlock Babel's Callingalong with the Altar stage. Obtaining three gold prizes in Golden Playhouse unlocks 3-Star Man and the Menhir stage. Achieving five gold prizes unlocks 5-Star Man along with the Obelisk stage". And nine gold prizes will unlock Taking On The Gods as well as the Axis Mundi stage. You must go on to conquer Axis Mundi for A God is Born!. Completing each of the four stages in Babel will earn you an achievement each. Babel Mode can also be played in co-op called Pairs. This makes the stages slightly shorter with easier block drops. Being one of the more difficult aspects of the game, it would be wise to save Babel related achievements for last. All Babel-related achievements are:
Miscellaneous/Clean Up By now you should have nearly all the achievements for Catherine, if not, then now is the time to run back through Story mode and grab all the one's you missed. There are block-related achievements that can be done during some of the Nightmare stages that you may want to get if you haven't already. Also, during the day take some time to explore the Stray Sheep and speak to patrons, they may need your help. There are five total bar patrons that need your encouragement but some only appear on certain days. Helping all five by the 8th Day will unlock Everyday Hero. Also be sure to visit the Jukebox and cycle through some songs if you haven't already. Check and make sure you have heard every factoid for all alcoholic beverages. Simply order each drink once a day(and sip it three times) to get all the factoids but remember the achievement won't unlock until the 8th day. Don't forget on the 5th Day to stay at the bar and wait for everyone to leave as well. Here are all the miscellaneous achievements that you may have missed:
Catherine is no doubt one of the most bizarre and enigmatic retail games to hit the Xbox 360 in quite some time. It's definitely a very unique game with a compelling story that can't be missed! Most achievements can be gained in a minimum of 3 playthroughs and the Rapunzel game can be beat simply by following a video guide. Having said that this is not an easy game to 1000 For an in-depth Catherine FAQ containing commonly asked questions and guides click HERE.

Everyday Hero 50Help everyone out of their predicaments. This achievement is unlocked for helping all the patrons of the Stray Sheep. It will unlock once you complete the achievements for each character:
Play It Again, Vince... 5Use the jukebox to change the music. This achievement can be unlocked by operating the jukebox at the Stray Sheep and changing the background music to another available song. You can get this as early as the 2nd Day. This will be the first time you can freely roam the Stray Sheep. There will be a jukebox to the left of the room next to the Rapunzel arcade machine. Interact with the jukebox by pressing , from there you will have a selection of songs to choose from. Play whichever song you wish and the achievement will unlock along with another jukebox song entitled, YO. Text Junkie 20Reply to at least 20 text messages by the end of the final day. This achievement will unlock once you have sent 20 text messages through your cell phone. If you answer every possible text message, this should happen by the 5th Day but the achievement doesn't unlock until the 8th Day. There are 25 text messages you can reply to in any given playthrough. You mysteriously lose some of your texts later in the game but it should not affect the achievement. Depending on how you respond to some texts, you may or may not get replies which leads to fewer texts per playthrough making this achievement easily missable. That's why it's important to stick around the Stray Sheep until you get some because leaving too early will cause you to miss them. Chatting with patrons and friends twice(until the pink talk box goes gray) seems to initiate some text messages. This will unlock once you leave the Stray Sheep on the 8th Day if you have sent 20 or more text messages. For a list of every text message in the game and how to initiate them, click HERE. Welcome to the Colosseum 10Unlock the Colosseum mode. This achievement is story-based, and cannot be missed. It will unlock upon completion of the game, no matter which ending you receive. Colosseum is a 2 player mode where you choose from the various stages of the Golden Playhouse and have a competitive climb-off! Push It to the Limit! 10Push 5 blocks at once.(Golden Playhouse) This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode. When playing any Nightmare stage, there will be a number of opportunities to push more than one block at a time. Make sure there there are five blocks in a row, and push them all at once to unlock the achievement. This achievement can be unlocked in almost every stage, but is easiest in Stage 1-1 on the Easy difficulty. Shortly before you reach the rows of unmovable blocks at the top, there are two different places that have six blocks at once, with an easy spot to push from. Another area to do this is at the start of Stage 4-2 where The Child chases you. To the right at your level are 4 blocks already lined up side by side. Now pull out any block stacked to the left of your screen and push it next to the set of 4 blocks making it 5. Now push the 5 set of blocks for the achievement. Difficulty settings needed for this method may vary. Have an Ice Day 10Slide an Ice Block 5 or more blocks.(Golden Playhouse) This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode. If the description confuses you it simply means you must push an ice block and have it slide over 5 other blocks that are below it. The best location to get this achievement is on the second stage of the Quadrangle (5-2). At the very start of the level, simply pull out one of the intial blocks and drag it to the far right side of the starting are, which is made up of 6 ice blocks in a row. Then push the ice block down the row, and the achievement is yours. To see this being done, click HERE. Another very easy location is on the first stage of Quadrangle (5-1) on Easy difficulty. Towards the beginning, when there is a winding staircase of ice blocks on the left, at the foot of the stairs on the right is a single ice block. Just pull, spider crawl to the other side and push. More than enough spaces for the achievement. Difficulty settings needed for this method may vary. Bomberlamb 20Hit 15 blocks with a single explosion.(Golden Playhouse) This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode. This can be done on level 6-2 on Easy difficulty. Soon after the first checkpoint is reached, you'll run into a tower (about 4-5) of spring blocks. Move one over to be able to spring onto the top of the main wall you need to climb. On top of the wall there will be a bomb block. Light it, and then wait for it to explode. Under one of the newly made crumble blocks, you'll notice a superchared bomb block (one with higher explosion radius). Destroy the crumble block and fall onto this bomb block. Let it explode and "Boom" more than 15 blocks should explode. To see this being done click HERE. Difficulty settings needed for this method may vary. I Can Fly! 30Jump on a Spring Block 3 times in a row.(Golden Playhouse) This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode. You must jump on a spring block 3 times or on 3 different spring blocks in succession, it doesn't matter. The earliest place when this first becomes available is at Quadrangle Stage 5-1 on Normal difficulty. Earlier in the stage there will be blocks that bounce you high into the air, jump on one 3 times to get this to pop. It doesn't have to be the same one, just bounce on three different springs in rapid enough succession until this pops. Make sure Vincent doesn't grab on to a ledge on his third jump or else this may not unlock. To see this being done, click HERE. Difficulty settings needed for this method may vary. Take Your Time 30Move a Dark Block 10 times in a row.(Golden Playhouse) This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode. There are many opportunities to move a dark block but an especially easy area would be at the Quadrangle Stage 5-2. At the very beginning once you take a step up once there will be 2 dark blocks side by side. Safely make your way up there and pull out the one on the left. Now push and pull it until the achievement pops. Difficulty settings needed for this method may vary. Last edited by FeLizP; 07-15-2012 at 04:44 PM. |

On the days you are at the Stray Sheep, you will have the ability to choose from four drinks to have at your booth seat. To take a sip press while sitting at your booth with your friends. Once you finish one (three sips), you will get a piece of trivia on that drink, and will be able to order another from Erica. When she comes to your booth request sake by pressing and she will bring it to you. Boss the bartender can also take your drink orders up front when you sit there. Each day, make sure to drink(three sips) Sake at least once each night. On the 8th Day, you will unlock the achievement once you receive your last sound bite.Note: Remember you can only get one bit of trivia per night for each drink. It is possible to get one tip from each drink each day, so you can unlock all four drinking-related achievements in one playthrough. However, you have to start getting a tip for every drink starting on the 2nd Day and onwards or else you could miss their respective tip achievement. Beer Baron 10Listen to all the beer factoids. Each day at the Stray Sheep, be sure to drink Beer at least 3 times. To take a sip press while sitting at your booth with your friends. Once you finish a drink (three sips), you will get a piece of trivia on that drink, and will be able to order another from Erica. When she comes to your booth request a cocktail by pressing and she will bring it to you. This appears to be Vincent's favorite drink since it's what he is drinking when you are first able to order beverages on the 2nd Day, so you may want to do this one first. Boss the bartender can also take your drink orders up front when you sit there. On the 8th Day, you will unlock the achievement if you have received all trivia bits for the cocktail. See "Sake Sensei" for more information. Whisky Wiseman 10Listen to all the whisky minutiae. Each day at the Stray Sheep, be sure to drink Whisky at least 3 times. You Don't Have To Go Home... 5Stay in the bar until all the other customers leave. This is an easy achievement to miss if you're not careful. It will unlock at the end of the 5th Day if you stay in the Stray Sheep after everyone else has left, and do not leave early. To pass the time, speak to everyone at the bar twice then take a seat at the booth with Vincent's friends. Now speak with each of your friends until they decide to leave. There will be an option for you to stay or leave with them, select "Be careful.." and this will unlock. This can be done on other days too such the 8th Day. Babel's Calling 10Unlock the Altar by earning 1 Gold Prize on Normal or Hard. This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode on Normal or Hard difficulty. It will unlock if you obtain at least 1 Gold Prize on any of the 9 Nightmare Stages. This is pretty easy to get early into Golden Playhouse when playing Stage 1-1 even on Normal difficulty. When playing Stage 1-1 make sure you keep your step chain and collect all the enigma coins as you make your way up. You can also hit the "undo" button(Back) if you ever mess up. Please see HERE for help with obtaining gold prizes in stages. Altar Conquered! 10Complete Stage 1 of Babel. This achievement is unlocked through the Babel gameplay mode, by completing the first stage: Altar. Babel's block placement is completely randomized, making strategies very difficult to create here. The stages on Altar are dominated by White Blocks, Heavy Blocks, and Cracked Blocks placed in awkward patterns commonly interspersed with gaps from Cracked Blocks breaking. You must reach 150 steps to complete it. This Babel stage can also be played in Pairs which should significantly make it easier for you. If playing in Pairs, 106 steps are needed to complete it. For an in-depth strategy of each Babel Stage click HERE. Step Requirements

The stages tend to have numerous Trap Blocks and can be as narrow as three blocks wide, requiring rapid movement and quick thinking to survive all 187 steps. This Babel stage can also be played in Pairs which should significantly make it easier for you. If playing in Pairs, 130 steps are needed to complete it. It will unlock if you obtain at least 5 Gold Prizes on any of the 9 Nightmare stages. Please see the links under the "Conquer Stage.." achievements for help with obtaining gold prizes. Obelisk Conquered! 20Complete Stage 3 of Babel. This achievement is unlocked through the Babel game-play mode, by completing the third stage: Obelisk. Babel's block placement is completely randomized, making strategies very difficult to create. Ice Blocks, Bomb Blocks, and Random Blocks become prevalent in these stages, with Mouth Blocks appearing at an alarming frequency as well. The tower occasionally is wide enough to fill most of the screen, but the Random Blocks limit the margin of error greatly. Skill and quick thinking will be necessary to reach 215 steps. This Babel stage can also be played in Pairs which should significantly make it easier for you. If playing in Pairs, 142 steps are needed to complete it. For an in-depth strategy of each Babel Stage click HERE. Step Requirements

Taking on the Gods 30Unlock Axis Mundi by earning all Gold Prizes on Normal or Hard. This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode on Normal or Hard difficulty. It will unlock if you obtain all 9 Gold Prizes on each Nightmare stage be it on Normal or Hard. Best to do it on Normal for this one to get you ready for "The Golden Child". In order to get a gold prize for a stage you must get a gold trophy on every floor of that stage. Some stages only have one floor so those are easier but some stages have up to 6 floors like Stage 9. To get the gold prize you basically have to:
and interestingly, you can press it to get your chain back up if you're about to lose it! Use your terrain to your advantage and techniques given to you at the Landings to finish the stages in a timely manner. You can replay stages from you cell phone by going to AWARDS. If you are ever stuck on a puzzle at some point there's a video walkthrough you can replicate by clicking HERE. Let it be noted that this achievement can also be unlocked by gold prizing all stages on Hard difficulty and stacks with "The Golden Child". Good Luck! A God is Born! 100Conquer the final stage of Babel. This achievement is unlocked through the Babel gameplay mode, by completing the fourth stage: Axis Mundi. Babel's block placement is completely randomized, making strategies very difficult to create. This is absolutely the most outrageously difficult puzzle in the game. White, Vortex, and Cracked block types are all present here, but Vortex Blocks are the main threat. The blocks are often arranged in highly complex patterns, making it easy to collapse most of the tower just by moving the wrong block at the wrong time. Extensive mastery of the "Edge" mechanic is a necessity if you are to reach 279 steps. This Babel stage can also be played in Pairs which should significantly make it easier for you. If playing in Pairs, 168 steps are needed to complete it. It has been revealed that the North American version of Axis Mundi is "broken" and impossible to complete in Singles Mode due to the absurd block drops making it impossible to make your way up. So Pairs Mode is strongly recommended. For an in-depth strategy of each Babel Stage click HERE. If you somehow manage to do this not only will you unlock this achievement but also a special video from Trisha! Step Requirements

The Golden Child 100Earn Gold Prizes on all Hard difficulty stages. This achievement is only available while playing Golden Playhouse mode on Hard difficulty. It will unlock if you obtain all 9 Gold Prizes on all of the 9 Nightmare stages. In order to get a gold prize for a stage you must get the gold trophy for every floor of that Stage. This is the hardest achievement in the game(outside of Babel) because the puzzles now give you:
You can also no longer use the Undo button in Hard Mode so if you make a crucial mistake simply restart from the beginning. To help prepare yourself, save this achievement for last to get yourself some experience with the game. To get a gold prize you pretty much have to:
Be sure to study each puzzle closely and find the quickest way to the top, you'll need wits and quick thinking for this. Remember, these puzzles can be memorized unlike the Babel Stages, they're always the same layout. Boss and Stage dynamics will be the most difficult aspect of obtaining gold prizes for each stage. Once you feel that you have the skills and techniques to complete all 9 Stages on Hard start a New Game on Hard or load up a save from Golden Playhouse and replay the Stages from your cell phone under AWARDS. Just be sure to switch difficulty to Hard from the pause menu before attempting if you haven't already. Be forewarned, Hard difficulty can get extremely frustrating, especially the later spheres of Stage 9 which are absurdly hard! Here are some additional tips:
You can also follow the video guide located HERE by trying to replicate the Hard Stage runs. Good Luck! Mystery Within a Puzzle 20Uncover the truth behind Rapunzel. This achievement can be unlocked after starting Extra Stage 1 when playing the Rapunzel arcade game at the Stray Sheep tavern. Extra Stage 1 is unlocked by inputting a cheat code at Rapunzel's title screen after you complete Stage 64 in Rapunzel. The code is only given to you after you have collected all 4 rosaries, and when you have completed stage 64. So if you missed any rosaries, you have to go back and get them because the code will not work before then. This will unlock the true ending, and allow you to go for the Extra 64 stages. And once again, there are 4 rosaries in the Extra stages, which will unlock the true ending. If you don't collect the rosaries, you get the bad ending for both regular and extra stages. Once you enter the code the main menu color will change to purple. Press then to start the new chapter. This will unlock once Extra Stage 1 starts. Rapunzel stages can get incredibly deep, so you may want to visit the video guide HERE if you ever get stuck on a puzzle.Code: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (at title screen) Legendary Prince 50Hear Rapunzel's sad song. This achievement can be unlocked by collecting all four rosaries and completing Extra Stage 64 when playing the Rapunzel arcade game at the Stray Sheep tavern. Simply finishing gives you the bad ending and no achievement, you MUST collect the four rosaries to get the achievement. You can't play any Extra Stages until you've completed the first 64 normal stages and collected all the rosaries, see "Mystery Within a Puzzle" for more info. There is a code you must enter at the main menu of Rapunzel before starting the next 64 stages listed below. Code: ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() (at title screen)The Extra Stages are some of the more intricate puzzles, so use the video guide HERE if you ever get stumped. Note: The rosaries are located in Stage 52, 56, 60, and 64 in both Normal and Extra mode - in Extra Mode you must first collect a Magic Lamp item to make the rosary appear. You must have all four when you finish stage 64 to get the 'True Ending' for both modes - which means you must complete stage 52 through 64 in succession if you wish to get these achievements before completing the main game. Collected rosaries WILL NOT save between sessions - you MUST complete stages 52, 56, 60, and 64 in one sitting to view the "True" ending and unlock the achievements. Question... you say that we can skip any puzzle sections that we received a gold prize on... is that skipping enabled for a gold prize on any difficulty, or only on hard?

Nice FelizP, another good work of a guide, I know its incomplete, but by around a week or so, everything should be answered, other than that, that Avatar square is funny...Also, I guess this game is stackable for both the US and JP versions for getting 1000

Great job on the guide. This looks like a real ballbuster of a game to 1k, but I love the challenge.

I appreciate you mentioning that and you're welcome. Too many achievement guides in the past have had youtube videos posted all over the place withing the guide and it just looks too cluttered for my taste, so I placed links withing the stages instead, thought it would be nifty. I have only posted a few Youtube videos on the guide so far and plan to keep it to a strict minimum.
Just a reminder though, as of now Stages 8 and 9 link to a walkthrough but videos have not been posted quite yet. Give it time, the game just came out today so it will give us time to finish Golden Playhouse until then. |

Out of interest, if someone recorded a gold prize run of a stage, how hard would it be to replicate?

As helpful as the videos are it seems that the Babel stages will be the only true challenge since the blocks drop randomly on there, the videos posted for the babel achievements are pretty much there to give you ideas for strategies for certain predicaments. Tips the game gives you at the Landings help too. |

Awesome
Great job, it looks pretty good. Unfortunately freaking Amazon delayed my order today for what ever reason (Problems apparently), so I won't be able to start the nightmare until tomorrow or Thursday. >

I'd like to point out a few good areas for certain achievements:
You don't have to go home... You can actually get this on Day 5, if you talk to everyone and your friends leave. The achievement will unlock when it's just you, Boss and Erica. Push It To the Limit! Anytime there are five in a row, it's easy, but Level 5-2 (Quadrangle) has several places for this. Have an Ice Day Any of the level 5 areas are good, but there's a nice spot on 5-2 where it's already set-up for you. All you have to do is pull it once, and go to the other side and push it. It's at the bottom level. I Can Fly! This can be done on the first level you get these (5-1, I think). It doesn't have to be the same one, just bounce on three different springs in rapid enough succession. In fact, I tried to bounce three times on the same one (make sure you face away from the ice blocks it'll force you to grab) and it didn't unlock until I jumped onto another one. Take Your Time Any level with moveable heavy blocks, makes this doable, but the beginning of 5-2 has an easy place for this, just pull it out once, then back and forth 9 times, and Achievement Unlocked. Hope these helped!! |

I'm pretty sure a couple of the block achievements can be done without sweat in Rapunzel, with the except of the 'I Can Fly!' one, since there are no jump boxes there.

As I mentioned in Post#9 this game has been out since February so the internet was crawling with information beforehand. I also had some friends who were really good Japanese players lend me some of their uploaded videos. There's also a wiki page that's dedicated to the game that helped me get a head start as well. Just finished the game and got the Nighty Night ending.
I had neutral karma though and made the choices on stage 9: 1. Of Course 2. Yes 3. Yes 4. Peaceful Days Also managed to get all the Everyday Hero achievements just by picking the encouraging dialogue choices. Got most of the misc achievements except the bomb block one I'm gonna have a look at 6 to see where the best place is. EDIT: Got Bomberlamb on 6-2, pick up the white block power up a few rows above where you start and place it below and in front of the high glowing bomb block in the middle of your spawn. Then pull the bomb block out, detonate it and pull as many other blocks as you can into the bomb radius before it explodes. Finally stopped playing after about 7 hours straight now all I can think about is climbing blocks. Last edited by Tromav; 07-27-2011 at 05:02 PM. |

You'll know when you land on one because you'll bounce 5 blocks into the air. You have to use these to progress anyway so you can't miss them! If you're going for "I Can Fly" check the solution further above in the guide. Last edited by FeLizP; 07-27-2011 at 06:55 PM. |
