Fastest way to get Avid Inventor?

I'm sitting at 46 of 51 right now....right before the the final battle. I'd really like to go and grab my last 25 or so inventions before earning those last 4 achievements and beating the game. I've read around but nothing seems to work fast. Any good methods people have of getting materials?
