Luftwaffe jets - yes/no?

Will jets be in the game, towards the end of the war? Like in real life.

I would hope so. Maybe Gotha Flying wing and of course, the Me-262

Seems ridiculous to fly against jets. You would need to be so lucky to down one. Spot one flying below you and dive to get up enough speed to catch and kill him? You could also catch them on take off and landing.

What did happen? That's just the link to the wikipedia page. Unless the ME262 gets nerfed like the 5th generation fighters in HAWX, it won't really be fun to fly against them.

Downing planes on take off or landing would be novelty at best.

You two confused yourselves. He thought that you had no idea that Germany possessed jets towards the end of WW2. He posted the link to prove that they did. And I believe you were talking about the game.

Yeah, this thread is about including 262s like in real life. I am pretty sure most people know about them. I don't want to get into a common knowledge debate. It's a bit insulting that he would think I don't know such things.

About HAWX, the 5th gen fighters shouldn't have to worry about getting missile locked. Then again, the SR-71 had guns and missiles so yeah...

Also in the LA Noir, the detective car did not get a 1.1" quad gun on the back of his car with the Chicago Piano DLC. Soooo disappointing.

there 4 jets in the game: me262, gotha bomber, a russian bomber and a raf fighter

sorry, i didn't mean to cause any offence, I was just trying to show that there were jets up against props in WW2. sorry if i offended you.

a few years ago my wife worked with a girl in her 20's who had NO idea that we had people living on a space station, can you believe that? having said that, if your in a forum for a WW2 flight sim, i guess i should have supposed you might have a little background knowledge LOL.

as for the issue with the gameplay, it might be possible to limit the aircraft allowed in the match by year, like with IL2 sturmovik. i hope this doesn't end up like AC:6 with a bunch of DLC death machines ruling the skies.

As far i know there is the famous ME262 and the in development at that time the Horten Gotha Flying Wing ( when americans captured it one was almost near completion ) Then ofcourse you have your well known non jet fighters like the ME109, Junkers Ju Stuka, FW190, Heinkel 111H.
