Grinding?

Yeah never thought I'd end up having to but I'm at a point in this game where I need to grind. I've done everything else in the game and have just now hit level 19. Since I of course want the Achievement for hitting level 20, I need to grind. But even after following the Guide's suggestion of turning up the difficulty and killing Von Prong's guards I'm not getting very much XP at all. This the best way to go or is there a better method?

I no longer need help with this, my friend figured it out for me.

If anyone else is wondering, when you beat Von Prong the game lets you continue afterwards so you can keep playing up to level 20. I was under the impression that the game ended after you beat him and you couldn't do anything else.
