lovin this game, so ok i am a little late to the party i know but has anyone or did anyone have a record as bad as this, 40 races online 0 wins, plenty of 3 and 2.

Like yourself, plenty of 2nd & 3rd, but just can't the 1st!! Only a rank 16 & all I come across is rank 40+. Which is making me wanna leave the game on my shelf....

Your probably just unlucky. Occasionally there will be one or two guys in your race who are the 10th prestige equivalent, get in front, and stay in front with the bonus boost mod. I consider myself pretty good at the game, but 90% of the time I had to settle for 2nd or 3rd when this happened.

I've got the same problem. Currently lvl 40+ and win/loss record is 12/200... expect to loze a LOT

I've been playing since launch and can feel the pain. Sometimes you get in a room with nothing but Legend X Rank 50's and it's discouraging. If you're lower than that, I wouldn't worry about winning a race unless you feel there's a chance. Stay in the middle of the pack and use powerups. That'll get you much more fans and completed challenges. Before you know it, you'll be ranking up in no time.

Race in power up events so there's that many more people to beat up on.

Currently Legend 3 Rank 37 (I think, didn't play for a while), 75 wins out of over 1,000 raced. Tons of 2nd/3rd place finishes.

The W/L system is a little harsh only rewarding 1st place finishes. But the driver points I think it is, is helped greatly by just finishing high. If you come second in a 20 player race you get 18 points. If you come first you get 19. That's a more rewarding system.
