Dance of Dragons Finished

So I went to GRRMs site today and hiw Ice and Fire update said A Dance of Dragons is done. So anyone else exited for book 5 cause I know I am.

I'm pretty excited. Will be getting it this week. Also, it's getting some really good advanced reviews. I was pretty impressed what Time magazine had to say about it. Be warned, though, there are some spoilers in the review if you aren't current in the series or are only watching the HBO show.

I just hope he can get book six out soon. Martin isn't getting any younger! The popularity of the HBO show should help.

Books like this shouldn't be rushed. He needs to take his time because it will show in his writing and story telling if it is rushed.

If HBO's Game of Thrones series continues to gain as much favor as it has, they may end up rushing Martin a bit on the next book. Just hope it doesn't take another five years to find out what new troubles my loveable dwarf finds himself in.

I agree that it shouldn't be rushed, but remember that Storm of Swords was written in a year. He's proven that he can craft a quality story in a reasonable amount of time. I'm fine waiting a couple years, but I'd prefer not to have another five year wait.
