Introduction:

Welcome to Hunted: The Demon's Forge, a dungeon crawling action RPG video game introduced by inXile (creator of A Bard's Tale) and published by Bethesda. In this game, you have the choice to play as Caddoc, a male human warrior, or E'lara, a female elf ranger, and embark upon a journey to solve the mystery of a pale-skinned woman's projection by the name of Seraphine.

With a style not so dissimilar from Gears of War in its sprint, cover, and battle system, Hunted: The Demon's Forge introduces a wonderful experience both with a friend or alone and challenges old time fantasy game stereotypes with its unique magic system and lack of inventory. Not only that, but the game features several secret areas that the player must always be on the lookout for and plenty of rewards should one find them.

Overall, if you are reading this, you are clearly interested in Hunted: The Demon's Forge and, most likely, fully beating this game. Below is information I have gathered by myself and from research online (duly credited), all compiled, and cleanly writ in an attempt to help guide you to your 100%.

Happy gaming.

Step 1:

Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a game that offers reloads of chapters (and spots within chapters). Because of this, the order in what you collect and how you do it is not so important. I'll be writing this with the assumption you are starting from the beginning, however, so please keep that in mind as you follow my guide.

Firstly, start a new game and /do not/ skip the tutorial. The tutorial is recommended not skipped due to it having crystals and a deathstone body there, which you have to get to score those related achievements. All of the collection based achievements are detailed below.

VERY IMPORTANT: This game has an achievement that is based on whether you drink "sleg" or not. Please keep in mind that once you drink it, you will have to start from the beginning if you want the achievement where you did not. I recommend NOT drinking it on this playthrough so you can get the harder part over with early.

Step 2:

Assuming you did not drink the sleg last playthrough, load up the last chapter and play through it, only drink the sleg this time. It's recommended you do this with the character you did not originally play through (i.e. if you played E'lara, use Caddoc). That way, the last chapter's boss achievements will unlock for you as well. At this point, when you finish, you should have both sleg-based achievements as well as Chapter Six's boss achievements for both characters. Congratulations.

(Credit to: scorpy78)

VERY IMPORTANT: Do not start a New Game+ after you beat the game once unless you are willing to completely restart your characters (only your gold count remains). All progress on your character progression, deathstones, crystals, and dragon tears are reset upon a New Game+.

Conclusion:

This game should not give you too much trouble to 100%. The only real grind is the length of each chapter and ensuring you have all the necessary collectibles. Keeping a counter to offset this is incredibly important because there is no indication in the game of where and whether you are missing anything. Otherwise, Hunted: The Demon's Forge is a very easy thousand.

Keep an eye out for a long corridor-like section near the beginning of chapter one. A wargar should be knelt near a cover-system area to your left. After killing the kneeling wargar, run forward to the end of the corridor and look past the walled area in front of you. You should see two fleeing wargar. Shoot them down.

Your first opportunity to get this achievement is in Chapter One. There are several secret areas in the game that contain purple-ish, shining cages. Break one of these open (hopefully you get a purple glowing weapon), and there's your achievement. A few offered locations in Chapter One are writ below:

Location One for Epic Quality Weapon: Reference collectibles guide.

Location Two for Epic Quality Weapon: Reference collectibles guide.

When you discover at least six secret locations (all possible in Chapter One and will be detailed below in the collection section of this guide), your character unlocks the ability to equip two weapons. At this point, use the locations for epic weapons written just above and equip two purple weapons. All done.

One of the best locations to get this achievement is in Chapter 2.3. As you are continuing through the game, you will come across a crane platform. As you go down, look for the explosive containers with at least three wargar near them and blow them up.

The kaboom achievement just above is a great method on getting this. As you are being lowered on the crane platform in Chapter 2.3, try to kill as many wargar as you can. Utilizing the explosive barrels and attempting to get as many wargar around them before detonation also helps. Auburok and I got this achievement by sending Caddoc on the platform and having him firebomb the lower level and using E'lara snipe the top level.

At the scene in Chapter 4.3 where you witness a minotaur battling a bunch of wargar, you'll notice you are to walk out onto a wooden platform. When the minotaur notices you and charges you down from it by collapsing a pillar, have him charge the rest of the wooden pillars there that support the platform. This'll net you the achievement.

In Chapter 4.5, when you land upon a bridge-like path at the very start, be ready to sprint. You'll have a cutscene as you continue walking where a projectile slams into the bridge. At this point, sprint the entire way through it until you land on the ground at the very end (automatic). Boo-beep.

Pretty self-explanatory. Just load up the game, start from Chapter Five, and beat it. Done and done!

http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/achievements/1398/5-yngrw=.jpgRazor Sharp 15 http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/../images/site/gp-g.pngKill 15 enemies with the Forest flechette gun on the Road to Kala Moor

This is definitely easiest on casual mode. In the forest in Chapter 5.1, you'll come across a hill where a flechette gun (arrow gun) is positioned at the top. It's facing down the length of a bridge. Simply have your partner protect you while you shoot down the oncoming enemies. Eventually, you'll kill 15 and the achievement will pop. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

This is definitely easiest in casual mode with E'lara. In Chapter 5.2, you'll come across a wide desert-like area where you see two flying eyeballs and some wargar. Above them, at the very far end of your screen, you should see a wargar mounted on a ballistae. Either have a very strong bow equipped or have Caddoc battle charge you, aim at the eye, and shoot it down. Note that you cannot be too close, or else you will alert the enemies to your presence. This achievement only unlocks for the player shooting down the enemy.

In Chapter 6.2, once you encounter the scene with the prisoner (it's a lengthy cutscene and a deathstone will be involved), you will step outside. A tower is nearby, as is a dragon. Simply run to the tower and fight the wargar under it, and the dragon should destroy the tower on its own.

Do this achievement first. Throughout the game, you will find containers that the characters will reference as sleg. Do not drink these. At the end of the game, your achievement will pop. If you accidentally drank the sleg, redoing those sections of the game will re-write the chapter, so you don't have to start all over to get this achievement. Just redo those sections and finish the game. (Credit: II Skylander II).

Alternatively, "Play split screen on chapter 1.6, hardcore/old school difficulty. There's a regen vial right before the boss fight if you don't have any. Once the fight starts, take cover behind the pillar and move your afk teammate into the archer's fire. Use a vial when they go down and refill (when needed) from the 3 vials surrounding the arena." you don't need two playthroughs, I answered one question here http://www.xbox360achievements.org/forum/showthread.php?t=313537 and this is how I got all boss achievements along with drink or not to drink Sleg as well with only one real playthrough

I did it another way, played the whole game with Elara, no drinks, got all boss achievements with her and the "not to drink" achievement.

Then I loaded each level's last chapter, choose Cadoc, beat all the bosses and it also gives you all boss related achievements, and in level 5 in last chapter you start right in front of a sleg, drink it, continue on loading last chapters, beat all the bosses with him and you'll get all boss related achievements with him along with "to drink" achievement.

It worked for me this way so try it out

Sorry for my english, I hope you all understand what I wrote

OK, for the 'LF1M Dungeon Crawl' achievement, I've published a map to Live for people to use.

It's 25 roooms of 3 waves of 3 spider chargers, they're the weakest enemies available, and 3 waves of 3 is the lowest you can do.

For now, look under the 'recently published' tab for 'Grumftheld', then choose my map called 'Attack Before Dusk'.

It'll take you about an hour to run through, and you can do it on your own easily.

Just thought I'd throw it up because it's easier to use that than make your own (which takes a good 2o minutes or so at least).

Okay I'll check it out champ. Thanks!

Chapter One finished. I'll go back through when I'm more awake and add the relevant maps from the actual guide. Please let me know if I missed something.

Also, I'll add prologue later. It isn't forgotten.

Updates Thus Far:

Edited roadmap information to adjust difficulty and amount of hours required to 1000.

Also edited playthroughs required to account for shorter method to get both sleg achievements, credit given above.

Added chapter one information under collectibles.

Hey I think it might be a lot easier for you and the community to put the collectibles guide on a different thread making it easier, As to scrolling all the way down from the achievement guide and road map

Great guide I cant wait to see what the finish product looks like

Hopefully by the time I get Hunted everything will be revealed for all that is need to get the achievements...seems like a long haul

Unfortunately, without a map, it's really, really hard for us to keep track of where stuff is. There's a Brady Guide that's posted on this forum, too, and even that's missing a bunch of shit. We may end up fixing those, or making crude maps based on them just to point where things are.

This game is collectable hell, considering all the cut off points in the game: about 10+ times a level, you will pass through an area you can't backtrack from. Hopefully we can get this guide in good shape within a week, but if you're waiting, I think there's a good chance it'll be done in a few weeks.

Yeah uhm you should change the 10-15 hours for 1000... give people a much more realistic impression, talking at least 20 hours. Especially now before people can just spam guide use and also people will likely want to do a second playthrough instead of using a guide the first time through since it kinda ruins the fun of puzzles and stuff...

Why would she post the time to 1000 without using the guide, for the guide?

WTH?!?!?! you do know people do not have to look at the guide if they do not want help or prefer to do a 1st playthrough legit, 10-15 sounds about right especially since now there is a collectibles guide and Methods for money and beating each boss with different character....................
