new 2 series looking 4 fellow 'newbies'

hello all.
i primarily play street fighter but im looking to branch out this summer (MK doesnt interest me at all) and this caught my eye, really looking to join the bb commuity. Problem is, Im not a veteran of BBCT or the GG series so im terrible, and seeing as how everyone i find online are god level by comparison i was wondering if there are any fellow newbies to the series that came in late to the game like myself.
Basically looking for people to play that are of a similar level; still learning the ropes so to speak or veterans willing to humor a terrible player.

I'm pretty new to the series, just started playing about 2 days ago, lol.

My connection is crap ATM, but I've gotten a few achievements and can give advice if anyone needs it.
