No, games on demand are region locked. US account doesn't matter, it'll detect where your IP is.

You can use a VPN to bypass this, but it takes some technical fidgeting... and a commercial VPN service costs something too.

I'm from Canada and I just create a US account and buy US Microsoft points online and it works. I bought Deadthsmiles 2 on the US market and I play it on my real Canadian account.

Just to clarify... as I understand it, the games are on GoD are region-locked to the console's region (can't be played on a non-NA console), and your IP address is checked during purchase and download. Using a VPN helps with the latter but you'll still have a problem with the console region. Maybe the games that have a region-free retail disc release are region-free on GoD as well, but who knows.

So, I guess people with an IP address in Canada are allowed to make any purchases from the US marketplace, even if they don't show on the Canadian marketplace. The consoles are the same NA region, so that's not a problem.

Microsoft has let us know that Deathsmiles IIX will be available on May 24th
(North American time) for Canada and Mexico.
