wtf save file lost

hey all pleasse help
this is what happend 2 me 3 times now
i am playing season and game saves auto i can stop game and reload no problem
then at 1 point when game wonts 2 save it tells me hard disk is not availble to save i put in usb stick and it tells me not availble niether
when i end game and restart later it tells me there r no save files
when i look at my memory the save files r gone and i checkt it before there was a save file butt now its just gone ??????

dont want 2 keep restarting game from begin
did anyone had this 2 r know why it happpens and more important
HOW DO I FIX THIS

ive had no problems with my version of this game.. but my hard drive has maybe 20gb remaining could be hard drive failure of some sort. dont know whatelse to say.

I'm also having a problem with the game save on this game.

Twice now I have got well into the game but it says that it cannot find the hdd to save progress.

When i've checked on the memory status for the game save via the dashboard it says the the file is corrupted

I've installed the patch and installed the disc to the hdd but it still corrupts my game saves.

ANY ADVICE ????

Yes. I have this half a dozen times, but still managed to get to 1000.

You need a MC or USB. After every match (or as often as you want) you should back up your save to the MC or USB. It can be done quickly by going to options, select storage device, choose storage device (MC or USB), back out (Save changes and exit), choose storage device again (Hard Drive), back out (Save changes and exit) and you are ready to continue. You have a working back up. If the 'cannot save' screen comes up, immediately quit to dashboard, go to memory and COPY (not move) that save to the hard drive.

Just had to start using a USB save myself. I was literally two tournaments away from being No 1 and winning all Snooker Trophies (including all of them in the same season) and it screwed me.

It basically means I have to play the WHOLE of the game again. This kind of shit should be sorted out and I think this games final score will now have to be altered as if I'd known this was such a widespread problem when I started there is no way I'd have given the game 80%. Unreal.

played this game from day one and had no problems with save files and i am using no external drives/pens/cards etc...

seems to affect some and not others.only advice i can give is BACK UP YOUR SAVE FILE! i found this out the hard way! as for a patch,i doubt it.its wsc 09 repacked so i doubt theres gona be much support for this title.shame 2 because its a perfect snooker game.only slight issue with it has been the save file problem for some but the rest including online is A1
