Achievement Guide + Road Map
ROADMAP for GAME CHEST: SOLITAIRE Overview: -Estimated achievement difficulty: 2/10 -Offline: 20/20 for 200 ![]() -Online: 0 -Approximate amount of time to 200 : 25 to 35 hours (range due to bonus wheel results)-Minimum number of playthroughs needed: 100 to 200 for Klondike & Spider | 300 to 500 for Tri-Peaks -Number of missable achievements: Be aware of All Natural as doing it early will make it easier -Glitched achievements: None -Do cheat codes disable achievements? There is an UNDO button that does not affect achievements. -Does difficulty affect achievements? No INTRODUCTION: Welcome to my achievement guide and roadmap for achieving 200 on Game Chest: Solitaire. This game is only available on a Windows 7 phone. This game consists of three traditional solitaire games that are very easy to win at - Klondike, Spider, and Tri-Peaks. Everytime you win you build points towards leveling up to be a level 20 Grand Master. You are also able to spin the wheel for bonus points after every game you win. Only two games offer a difficulty change, and you will get more points for completing them at those higher levels. Although, I contend you can finish three times as many games on the easier option. Additionally, since these are card games, there are some luck based achievements, but with a little grinding you will knock them out in no time. Finally, there is an undo button on all games...which will be used often.GETTING STARTED: The first achievement you will look to get is Spinner, a simple mini-game played by spinning the Main Menu. Next you will definitely want to knock out All Natural, in which you level up without using the Bonus Wheel. This will also net you First One's Free and Look at You! To get to the very first level of any game you only need a couple of wins. However, in the higher levels you will need lots and lots of wins, especially on Tri-Peaks. Once you have completed All Natural you will start spinning the bonus wheel after every win. On the wheel are skulls that take away half your points from the win. Also, on the wheel is an icon of another wheel, which is what you need to land on to get Spin-Spun-Fun. You will get this several times over the course of playing and there are no skulls on the Super Wheel, plus every multiplier is double (up to 10x). Once you reach level one on any game go back out to the main menu and view your scrap book. In here you can view your achievements and the also your progress towards your pins. If you push on one of your pins, you will hear a sound and net the Listen! You Smell Something? achievement. As you win games of each type you will net A New Challenge Appears and Reach for level one matery in all games. As you progress to level 20 you will get Pin Collecting 101, Harvest, and lastly Master Collector. Finally, there are some game specific achievements, which involve some luck. I have listed those below according to the game they apply to, along with some details on each of the games. For assistance on the game specific achievements please see the achievement guide. GAMES: You receive pins at level 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20 for all games. So to get all the pins you must achieve level 20 on all three games. Klondike: Pts for Win: 1 card - 70pts | 3 cards - 80pts Pts to reach level 20 Grand Master: 6260 Game Specific achievements: Walk the Line, Sprint, Lucky Devil ***(these three are the most difficult luck based achievements) Tri-Peaks: Pts for Win: 50pts Pts to reach level 20 Grand Master: 39020 Game specific achievements: Try Tri, Peaks and Valleys, Around the World Spider: Pts for Win: 1 suit - 30pts | 2 suits - 60pts | 4 suits - 120pts (confirming) Pts to reach level 20 Grand Master: 7680 Game specific Achievements: Suited Up, Eight Legged Streak, Flip 'Em and Squish 'Em CONCLUSION: Aside from a couple of luck based achievements this is a pretty easy game. Each game track multiple statistics so this does help on way to completing this game. I hope this helped you on your way to 200 .

A New Challenger Appears! 15 ![]() Won a game in each of the three solitaire games. You must win one game of each of the following game types - Klondike, Spider and Tri-Peaks. Each game has a RULES and OPTIONS category to explain how to play the games. All Natural 10 ![]() Went up a level in any Game Mastery without ever taking a spin at the Bonus Wheel. You earn points to level up by winning games. To achieve this you must level up without spinning the bonus wheel that is offered after winning a game. This is best done when you first start playing as you only need a handful of wins to hit level 1. It took me two wins on Klondike without using the wheel to level up. Around the World 10 ![]() In Tri-Peaks, got one of each card in a single streak without drawing a new card from the deck. In Tri-Peaks you count up and down from Ace through King and King through Ace. There is a deck you draw from if you get stuck, that will offer another card. You must hit every number in your streak before pulling a card from the deck. You can start at any card and do not have to climb or descend in complete order. So you can go up and down to get the streak. For example: 6 - 7 - 8 - 9 - 8 - 9 - 10 - J - Q - K - A - K - A - 2 - 3 - 4 - 3 - 4 - 5. Eight-Legged Streak 5 ![]() Won eight consecutive games in Spider Solitaire. This is best done playing 1 suit difficulty. From the main menu choose SPIDER - MAIN MENU - 1 SUIT. As you play towards level 20 your streaks will likely hit double digits. You cannot quit a game as it records as a loss. However, you can use the UNDO button as much as you like. First One's Free 5 ![]() Played one round in any game to completion. You must win one of the three games to get this. You will know you won because there will be fireworks and you will be offered to spin a wheel. Flip 'Em and Squish 'Em 20 ![]() Flipped over 1000 cards in Spider Solitaire. This will come naturally. Everytime you move a face up card off of a deck the face down card below it will flip over. This counts towards your 1000 and you can view your progress under the Lifetime Stats section for this game. Listen! You Smell Something? 5 ![]() Played your first sound. You must earn a pin to get this. Once you earn a pin you need to enter the Scrapbook. From the main menu choose SCRAPBOOK - PINS - and choose the game you have recieved a pin on. If you touch the pin it will make a sound...achievement unlocked. Look at You! 5 ![]() Earned your very first pin. Will come early and easy. Once you make it to level 1, which only takes a couple of wins, you will recieve your first pin. You recieve pins at levels 1, 5, 10, 15, and 20. Lucky Devil 10 ![]() In Klondike, got an ace on every home stack without ever taking a card from the deck. Definitely one of the tougheset achievement to get as it is luck based. There is slight chance you will get this over the course of the 100 or so games you play on your road to level 20. If you do not then start up a game, play out the few cards you can until you have to take a card from the deck, then restart a new game and try again. Peaks and Valleys 5 ![]() Moved every card, ace through king, from the peak to the deck in Tri-Peaks. This will come naturally over the course of several games/wins. The peak is the very top card and to win you need to move all three of these "peak cards" to the deck. Once you have moved every card type available from the peak to the deck this achievement will unlock. Reach 5 ![]() Reached level 1 in all of the Masteries. You must reach level 1 in all three games. Spinning the Bonus wheel almost always adds points to your score. This will easily be reached as it only take a handful of games to get to level 1. Spinner 15 ![]() Spun the chest shelves and landed unaided on the same shelf three times in a row. This is a kind of mini-game at the main menu. The menu scrolls by touch like a slot machine. You must land on the same menu three times by just spinning it. Like the BONUS wheel that is in this game you will develop a finesse with your touch to ensure it lands on the proper menu three times. Spin-Spun-Fun 5 ![]() Landed on the Super Spin at the Bonus Wheel. After winning any game you are offered to play a mini-game by spinning a bonus wheel. Once you have recieved ALL NATURAL, you will be spinning this wheel everytime to boost your post game points. On the wheel is a SUPER SPIN icon in which you will get to spin again for 2X points. You will land on this several times going for Level 20 Grand Master. Sprint 10 ![]() Won a game in less than 3 minutes in Klondike. Another luck based achievement, but not as tough. Klondike is the tougher of the three games even on the 1 Card setting. There is no trick to this achievement other than thinking a little faster. Master Collector 20 ![]() Completed all the sets of pins. To complete all set of pins from all three games you must level up to level 20 in each game. This will come easy with Spider and Klondike, but you will be doing some grinding on Tri-Peaks. The bonus wheel at the end of each win will be your friend as you can get up to 10x your points. Level 20: Klondike: 6,260 Spider: 7,680 Tri-Peaks 39,020 Pin Collecting 101 20 ![]() Completed any one set of pins. You must reach level 20 Grand Master for one game to recieve this. This will most likely be done first on Klondike or Spider as the points need are much lower. On the easy setting you get 70 points for a Klondike win and 30 points for a Spider win. Again, the post game bonus wheel is your friend. Suited Up 5 ![]() Built up a full suit, ace to king, on any one home stack in Spider Solitaire. This will come naturally when playing this game, as you need to do this to work towards a win. Once you complete a stack the cards disappear so that you can work on the rest of the cards. Try Tri 5 ![]() In Tri-Peaks, moved three cards in a row to the deck from the peak. This will come naturally as you play Tri-Peaks. You will have double digits runs several times over, especially going for Around the World. Walk the Line 15 ![]() Had only aces on all four home stacks at one time in Klondike. Another luck based achievement. If you do not get this going for level 20, then you will definitely get this going for LUCKY DEVIL, as you will have three Aces up several times. Once you have three up you can just sort through the deck as the last one is usally there. This came for me naturally, just playing the game. Harvest 10 ![]() Reached level 19 in all of the Masteries. See "Master Collector" Last edited by big red marino; 12-20-2010 at 08:56 AM. |

Thought I'd share my stats, took me 100 or so games for the Lucky Devil achievement in Klondike. Felt a lot longer playing Tri Peaks, I guess as the games are so short. The last two levels of Spider I kept landing on the skulls on the bonus wheel more than previous levels too.
SPIDER: Games played: 126 Lifetime Wins: 107 Lifetime Losses: 19 Current Winning treak: 10 Best Winning streak: 13 Worst losing streak: 2 Lifetime moves: 14572 Lifetime completed suits: 880 Lifetime cards flipped: 11193 Total game time: 11:17:28 Average game time: 05:22 KONDIKE: Games played: 174 Lifetime Wins: 36 Lifetime Losses: 138 Current losing streak: 106 Best Winning streak: 5 Worst losing streak: 106 Lifetime moves: 8491 Lifetime completed suits: 144 Lifetime cards flipped: 4899 Total game time: 4:05:34 Average game time: 01:24 TRI-PEAKS: Games played: 605 Lifetime Wins: 304 Lifetime Losses: 301 Best Winning streak: 8 Worst losing streak: 8 Lifetime moves: 28564 Lifetime completed peaks: 1357 Lifetime cards flipped: 23016 Total game time: 7:33:09 Average game time: 00:44 |

Thansk for the stats. I updated the roadmap to reflect a larger time gap to complete. It is all subjective due to the results of the bonus wheel. I had like a 20 hit streak there where I was landing on the section that has the bonus wheel, 3 times, and 5 times.

Around the World is the one I'm having trouble with. I already finished everything in Klondike and been playing Tri-Peaks non stop and I can't get a game where I cam use all cards from Ace to King.

Considering you still need to complete some pins I am guessing that TRI-PEAKS is one of the games you still have to finish so you almost assuredly should have an opportunity to go AROUND THE WORLD before finishing it. |

Man! I'm at 253 games played at Tri Peaks, and I can't still manage to get the "Around the World" achievement. I know, it's mostly luck, but what was your strategy? Did you go for it from the beginning of the game or did you just play until such a constellation appeared?
This is a hard one...damn!

Mine was at the beginning of the game when the run started. However, I know it took me over 300 of my 600 games.

Hi
Just thought I'd mention that there is an exploit in this game which u could put into the guide, it occurs in the exp. wheel mini game, if you land on a skull or a mulitplyer that you don't want, lock your phone and then unlock it which causes the game to reboot, when the game loads again it will give you another go at the wheel. (confirmation that it works with others plz, my phone is the HTC HD7) Also, I got around the world randomly just through natural progression to lvl 20 so just keep at it, its just luck, can't really build a stratergy cause each game is random. Got mine at the beginning of the game as well. Will post stats later on as I'm not quite lvl 20 for everything yet |

I can confirm it works on the HTC HD7. Depending on the game it may not be worth it cause of the load time. However, I have been using it on Game Chest: Logic as I am horrible at mine sweeper and if I win I want to be sure I get a bonus.

Haha, yeah I should have put in my original post "When it eventually loads". Just thought I'd give it a mention just in case anyone wanted to use it.
Cheers for the confirmations guys

Finally got my last achievement, Lucky Devil.
I had nowhere near as much luck as previous posters...it took me 818 consecutive losses in Klondike to get the achievement! I'm so glad that's over! |

For "First One's Free" I didn't win but just resigned in Klondike and was awarded the achievement.

Damn glitched me!
This morning I finally reached level 20 on all games earning every single pin and the MASTER COLLECTOR! The achievement showed but later when checking on my xbox it says I haven't unlocked it at all!!!! Still 180/200
Went back on it to check and although I have every single pin it still says in the achievement part of the scrapbook that it is still locked! Grrr What the heck do I do? Tried playing through again to spin the wheel to see if it'll unlock again but nothing! Any help would be appreciated ! |
